I think it's a call to do something about the corruption and not just pray and hope for change. We need to do something instead of hoping that things will change. The armor represents that. We gotta gear up and get ready for what's about to happen. Also, there's a lot of gods out there, but they're false gods. We can't hope that false idols and gods will save us, WE have to make the change. This system is corrupt and has broken us. I think he was crucified for being honest, because nowadays that's what it's like to be honest and authentic, you get attacked or punished. There comes a lot of weight to carry when you're truthful and authentic. Our society has abandoned truth. This song has very deep meaning
