The chorus is catchy, the verses are too Tom MacDonaldesque (not a fan even if I agree with what he’s saying). I really haven’t heard anyone make a good song about our current political climate yet. I support them making the songs though.

Let's not encourage many artists to get political. There are a lot of very stupid artists. Emotional....but not informed. 😄 Ronnie comes from a perspective like he knows things, not some airhead. So someone like him, with at least a basic grasp, has an opinion to share. All I have is praise for FIR this record. Everything on it was great! Hey, look what I found behind the couch. Nobody asked for it, but I'm handing over an extra pepperoni pizza with...not 3, but 4 roaches on it! Guess I should clean behind the couch more.

I get that it's just your subjective opinion so it doesn't really matter, but would you care to elaborate?

@@ImTheWinningest I mean, how does one explain how/why they think something doesn't sound great? I'm not a professional music critic, but I'll try. I don't like Radke's voice here. I don't like his cadence or delivery. I don't think the musical composition itself is anything great either. In fact, I'd go as far as saying I think it sounds "amateurish". Imho, this does not sound like a "polished" long time act. It sounds like something high school aged musicians would compose to me. I'm not super familiar w/ the rest of this particular bands' work, and if this track is a solid qualifier for what they bring to the table, I ain't interested. I'm not going to come on here & sh*t all over it...but I think it's a bad song. ...and I am a music guy. There are thousands of dollars worth of audio components in my pfp alone...and that pic doesn't even show my speakers & subwoofers (they cost thousands of dollars, too).

@@dizzle1119 It’s better than a lot of music about this political moment, but I agree it’s overall not great. FWIW the rest of their songs do not sound like this musically (and also different subject matter), but some of the songs where he raps he tends to have this same sort of cadence.

@@dizzle1119 The song with Jelly Roll “All My Life” is a lot of fun. “Ronald” has a Tech N9ne feature (and Alex Terrible) and I enjoy it because it’s really chaotic. The music videos for both are a *wild* ride (especially Ronald) and worth checking out if for no other reason than the intense sensory experience. I’m a filthy casual so I haven’t gotten into their whole discography though.
