65 yr. old Red Head here again LOVE IT !!! Told you Daughter turned me on to REN, Son turned me on to Falling in Reverse & another Band I Love MSI ( Mindless Self Indulgence)...OK I'm Weird Old Lady.... met lots of Rock stars( not Groupie style) ..My 1st( & tie for Best) " Rock Meet" was 1979...going to Penn State for Sculpture&& was on Concert Committee....Talking Heads came to play. I was backstage & got to sit & talk with AWESOME Woman Tina Weymouth....We talked Art 1st, mostly about a Glass artist Dale Chihuly, I'd seen him blow glass as guest artist in a class ( he was friend of Prof's)...I went to go leave before they went on stage & She said she liked my dress (It had BIG fucking shoulder pads && Zippers All over it) I told her I made it, She said You're kidding !! sat down talked a few minutes more, told her I'd been sewing since 10, made costumes for Plays grade school through H.S. & making side money making costumes for Drama majors...She told me I should try making stage clothes for Bands.... was 1st & Only time I Saw/Met Talking Heads!!! & wish Tina Knew the difference she made just talking to a Nerdy Girl!! LOL ! ....HOPE You Don't Mind the Old Lady Overshare !! && P.S. Falling in Reverse....Hard to Choose, But I Think Popular Monster is My Fav...Rock On Girl!!😁

I absolutely loved this comment and story time. The talking heads are genius. And TINA is AMAZING! I remember the big shoulder pads and zippers… I’m just waiting for them to come back. Back then I had a perm as I didn’t know I had natural wave. Probably would have permed anyway. Lol. I bet she enjoyed being treated like a person, as well. Great story!

Although I have been aware of that fact, I just kinda realized that the one doing all the butt kicking throughout the breakdown was overcome by the multitude at the end. This makes me rethink the ending of the open jail cell as him conquering his voices and is finally free from them. Anyone got any clarification? TIA

Yeah Ronnie is killing off the old versions of himself. In a livestream Ronnie said the song was actually written about his hypochondria as he was listening to "the voices in his head telling him he was sick and dying"
