Who decides what is offensive? In order to express an original thought, you must risk being offensive. That's my issue...it's a technolgical lynch mob. And no, freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences. Folks don't have the right to never be offended. They have the right to be offended by whatever they want....hold marches, make signs, post online....all of that. But you don't shut down freedom of expression. That's my take.

Always enjoy your reactions! Ronnie's song is often about social commentary. Free Speech has been cancelled. I'm enjoying the discourse in the comments. It use to be that everyone had a right to their opinion and beliefs- if you didn't agree you might just ignore it or rebut it. Now if you have a different opinion the cancel zombies come after you and try to silence you. I agree that there are some things you might only think and not say. But, it's your right to say them whether you personally liked it or not which was your right. It a hive mentality.

There are so many Easter eggs in this video. Ronnie throwing the mic stand thru the zombie, the zombie on the car wearing a shirt that says F*ck Ronnie. Not a complaint, because I love this band, but I wonder if Ronnie is playing tribute to late 90’s metal. The main riff in zombified is identical to linkin parks one step closer. Sounds like a total rip off unless it was intentional. Ronnie even does the “oh oh” during the end of breakdown taken from “down with the sickness” by disturbed. Love the song, but just saying. We all take inspiration from other artists. Just curious if anyone else hears this

@@jeffreimer6920 Hmm..never caught that before but yeah it is identical. I tell what though I am a musician and write music. One day I wrote this really fire acoustic part to a song. Showed it to my band and found out real fast I had written Fade to Black by Metallica and didn't catch it.

I don't think we should coddle everyone. I also believe that when a fact is said, assuming it is indeed a fact, that should not upset anyone. On the other hand, people will hide under freedom of speech to be morally bad people, and abuse that freedom to promote hate, promote segregation instead of trying to unite people and spread more positive ideas. At the end of the day, the bad apples on both ends of that conversation will ruin it for the rest of us. Then there are some people who will say a fact, and be a dick about it in the way they say it. They don't deserve to be cancelled, but they do need to learn how to communicate in a more effective way. Freedom of speech does not mean you get to be an asshole too, right

For sure. The problem is it's impossible to properly regulate because on one side, some people will find a reason to be offended by something, and try to find ways to benefit from being offended. On the other side, people will use that freedom of speech in a non moral way to promote and spread hate/racism/segregation instead of using it for more positive effects. There are bad actors on both sides of that coin. People will be people I guess
