This was so good!! My spirit resonated with all of it. Toward the end, when Bianca was talking about “I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living” - yall…I have WITNESSED IT!! Been in a 2 year stage 4 lung cancer battle - and more so a battle of faith than anything - and I have STOOD on that word!! Got a “cancer-free” report on September 1st!! Won’t He do it?!!! I’m pumped, and I’m sharing this with my social media peeps.

I am the person you are speaking to. I had an event five years ago where I didn’t want to go on, and tried to make that happen. Since then I have felt like a failure and have had trouble finding joy. I have tried meds, EMDR, therapy and other strategies. The one area I am struggling with is my faith. I believe but I can’t seem to live it. I am really hoping this season helps me find it.

Excited for this season! I totally can relate to the question asked. You couldn't fully understand what she is asking unless you have experienced it yourself. Health sometimes is not just a season. I have cancer, my mom and dad have cancer, my brother has cancer, and my grandmother is in the hospital with stage 4 cancer right now unable to breathe. Prayers for the listener who asked that question. My heart goes out to you. The journey of medicines, surgery, doctors, diagnoses, chronic pain, and all the above is a long hard road. It's not just a issue of getting back up.

My sister suggested this podcast starting with this season and I can see why. I deal with many health issues and bipolar with bipolar depression. It feels like the health issues keep popping up all the time and it can be so defeating. I don’t know if my feeling of giving up is a good thing because I don’t worry about it anymore or it’s a way of literally just giving up.

As for the question submitted. I feel like u in so many ways. It has been a long process but what helped me was focusing on the fact that this isn't home. Also that my suffering is not for nothing. A few more things i feel God showed me through this time. Nothing has changed for me. But my outlook has changed. If u can afford it go to Christian counciling. Even when u don't feel like it, even when u feel mad at God keep reading His word. Put urself on a mission with Christ to understand why how and how to deal with ur traumas. I promise if u make it a mission u WILL come out on the other side.
