Beautiful duet Falling Slowly from the musical, Once. Recorded in isolation from NYC and London. I’ve always loved this song and to sing it with Ariana was a great honour. Thanks to Alistair Brammer for coming up with his great idea of lockdown duets and inviting me to record one. Hope you enjoy.

Is it just me who thinks it's absolutely beautiful that Ariana gets emotional when Michael sings "you have suffered enough and warred with yourself, it's time that you won"? Those lyrics seem to be on her mind for the rest of the song, because she's visibly emotional again in the outro. You can clearly see (at least in my point of view) that she's thinking about her own battles, both personal and professional, as well as her successes in that moment. This song in general has always blown me away in terms of the emotion that can be evoked ,but shit man...Just wow...And Michael's face is so genuine when he sings that I want to cry myself 😍
