Nate, this video reminded me of so many days as a teenager walking the woods and creeks killing whatever we could. Just enjoying being out there and hunting. Brought back many good memories and emotions.

Nate, that was a great trifecta you guys had! Those Wood Duck Drakes are so beautifully colored. Congrats on a great hunt/ fish! That was great content, great video. Be Safe, and God Bless!

Nate you are so right. Louisiana is not what it use to be, too much erosion, siltation. Years ago ( 45-50 ) it was unbelievable, truly a sportsman paradise.

Man that looks like such a fun time. People pay good money for trips like this in other places yet we do it for free. Just wish i did it more. Keep the videos coming and keep up the good work.

Are you just whistling or are you using a call at the beginning for those woodies? I’ve been trying for so long to recreate that call.

Looks like a fun hunt, do you ever decoy or call for wood ducks? Would love to see a episode on that
@fallingtidetv8 ай бұрын
I don’t call to them too much. You gotta be really good at calling them for it to work.

Fried sacs duck and andouille gumbo and squirrel gravy. What time is it gonna be ready?
@jchristopher20318 ай бұрын
I haven’t eaten squirrel in for so long I don’t remember much about them. But I do know woodies are one of the best, if not the best, eating ducks on this continent and crappie are to southerners what walleye are to northerners - the best fish you can fry. You all are gonna have a tasty meal!

Hey Nate, that's what we call a ''mixed bag'' here in the country in N.C.! As you said you couldn't ask for it to be any better........maybe a deer and a couple a rabbits, lol. What's even better is that it was Public Land at that! Great content and footage!
