Thank you so very much for this video!! The video really made the geometry pop! It was also super helpful with my comprehension to understand the building from the ground up, as I am studying the house for interior design classes at college. It was an extra delight watching the construction of Fallingwater to the rhythm of the music! I now have a new perspective on architectural rhythm with music. :)

The structure was designed in 1935. What is truly amazing about it is not just the structure being ahead of its time, but the man behind the design. Frank Lloyd Wright was in his late 60's when he designed this. You have to look at the whole picture, The year, the design, the setting, and the vision of one man. That is what makes this so great.

The absolute BEST EVER (FOREVER) on KZbin !!! I've been to Fallingwater a few times. Each time was fantastically filled with new discovery in all the details. I can only attempt to describe it as being like a journey among the brushstrokes of all the known works of Rembrandt. Your video captures that feeling. A truly great bit of art has now been created by you, too. Need something like this on one of those pop-down screens on airliners at take-off, next time I fly! Absolute absorbtion!!!

this little home, so creatively depicted in this CGI is one of the great architectural meccas, and when i visited in the late 1980's philip kaufmann, son of the owner, just happened to be on site signing his 'fallingwater' book, which i still possess. this little building is like heroin for an architecture addict like me and it is truly a sight to behold -- a must see for anyone involved in creativity of any kind -- it's truly magnificent.

My Architectural hat's off to you Cristobal Vila!...You have really captured, in an eloquent way, the very Spirit and ESSENCE of Frank Lloyd Wrights Falling Water Masterpiece. The marriage of your artistic symphony combined with the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright and your magical display of cinematic Artistry gave us a wonderful, illuminating, and jaw dropping performance that will not be soon forgotten. Frank Lloyd Wright would have been proud of your architectural Symphony of Light,Color and Sound. You have truly accomplished a feat of magnificent proportions...Shalom to you my friend and I Hope to see you in the future.

This is a masterpiece of animation and modeling, using a masterpiece of architecture and construction as a subject, with a masterpiece of music in the background. I only wish the camera would settle on some views to get a better feel of various areas. I think the animator tried too hard to get the visual transitions to match the musical ones. They don't really need to be that tightly synchronized. I first saw this animation about 2 years ago, and revisit from time to time. Bravo.

It spouses the forms of nature it inhabits (the house takes the form of a cascade). There is as much outside space as inside space, with many window-walls, and thus it makes you feel like living in harmony with nature (you see all the trees when you're inside). Today it's less fantastic than it was at the time, when predominant windows as walls was not common.

This reminds me. Every year at school in our Art Club we go to Falling Water and Kentuck Knob in the fall. My first time was last year, and the day we went it was also the same day the school was holding the Halloween party. So, I go to Falling Water, and it's gorgeous, then we go to Kentuck Knob and it's really cool! The view off the hill was amazing, but, it started raining when we were going to the statue garden on our walk back to the bus. XD So me and my friends were running trying to not get soaked but also looking closely at the statues. It was awesome, though when I got on the bus I was drenched. We made it back and that Halloween I was dressing up as a sugar skull. The halloween party was about to start when we got back to the school. My mom came and quickly put on my skull makeup and I put on my costume and I had so much fun! I also won the costume contest and my mom was being a chaperone there. She drove me and my best friend home and we had a sleepover at my house. Such a fun day XD

Indeed! I'm an architect, so am impressed with the quality & complexity of the rendering. Are you coming from the architecture end of things, or from programming (or the laundry industry?!)? You're certainly correct in observing that this work would not have been possible without the amazing tool that enabled it's creation. That said, one must also recognize the incredible degree of skill it took to wield this tool to produce this work.
