She can do ballet too. I watched an interview of one legendary ballet dancer and he told that Naiomi was attending his classes when she was in Russia. Since he was an icon himself, his classes were only for high level professionals, but he allowed her to attend. (I believe she learned it as a child or as a teenager. it's just that she never was professional or semi-professional in it. But she knew all the basic stuff). And when she was attending his classes she was super humble and super polite. As a hardworking high level professional she is perfectly polite and nice towards other hardworking high level professionals. And she knew that he was in the position of authority in ballet, when she was a guest. So she was perfectly humble and disciplined. I think that's a really cool characterisation. I like people that a lot. She might be a real diva when she is in her domain, but she is sort of down to earth and she knows what are exact boundaries of her competences and of her authority. She knows her place perfectly well and doesn't try to overreach, she doesn't have an inflated ego while being super confident and fierce.

It was the big 5, who were deemed the original supermodels. Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, the late Tatjana Patitz, and Christy Turlington. They were the ones who were in the cover of the January 1990 issue of Vogue, being described as the supermodels. The big 7 wasn't really a thing (I'm assuming you are including Claudia Schiffer and Kate Moss). Both Claudia and Kate came after Naomi, who debuted in 1985. Claudia started in 1987 and Kate like in 1988, but Claudia didn't become mainstream until 1989 with her iconic Guess ads, and Kate more like around 1992, when the supermodel era reach the peak of glamour, and was about to tone down the next year with the start of the heroin chic movement. Claudia and Kate are probably more iconic than Naomi when we associate with the 90s aesthetic, as Claudia was the representative blonde bombshell/Barbie of that era, and Kate was the paradigm of the 90s waif look. But Cindy, Linda, Tatjana, and Christy came before Naomi in the 80s, and being older than her, and also white, they obviously had more opportunities. It was specifically Linda and Christy who would stand up for Naomi if she was refused to walk for a show because of the color of her skin. Naomi, Linda, and Christy were known as the Trinity, because they were seen constantly working together, especially for Steven Meisel (they were Meisel's girls). They were all very close friends, with Christy being Naomi's first roommate, and Linda living on the same building (she was a bit older than them). But they were the models who would get the most covers, open and close most shows, and constantly be on the campaigns (Linda and Christy especially).
