I feel so sad for Brian. Even his speaking voice is affected by the vocal dysphonia 😔 He was the biggest talent in the group. The kind of voice you don't see often in the industry - Kinda like JC from Nsync ✨
4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but he gives it his all at every Performance. And you got to admire that.
@denijane894 жыл бұрын
Well, we can't choose our health, can't we? I wouldn't say he was the biggest talent, they are all very very talented. He certainly was my favorite voice. But things are the way they are. I'm glad that he's still part of the band and that he's still doing his best to be part of the show. Vocal paralysis is such a bitch. I've experienced it and still do and well, it just sucks. He's a hero for still being there and not giving up.
@MichaelHolmgaard4 жыл бұрын
@@denijane89 I agree they are all talented. However, there is absolutely no doubt that Brian was the best. While the others were very talented, their voices could've been replaced be 1000 other male singer who sounds like them. Brian had true x factor. That high, clear and almost cold sound he had, with so much range...that is not something you see every day. Max Martin saw this as well, which was why he made him lead singer back in the day. He was the most essentiel to the signaturer BSB sound, and that's why they sound sonewhat different now, when Brian has vocal issues. I hope he gets to a place where he can stabilize his voice, as there is no cure for what he has 😔
@MichaelHolmgaard4 жыл бұрын
@ True. And at times, he definitely sounds like his old self. I hope he keeps improving, as he is definitely better off now than a couple of years ago 🙏
@denijane894 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelHolmgaard Michael Holmgaard Well, I agree he had an amazing voice. But AJ's voice is also pretty unique and he was also a bit underestimated because of his weirdness. But his voice is absolutely stunning. Anyway, I'm a Kevin's fan, I don't want to argue who's best because that's stupid discussion. Brian's voice was angel-like. He's the example of what the show-business industry do to jewels - it destroys them. Just like say Adele - they destroyed her vocal cords. It's what they do - they take all you've got and when your body can't take it anymore, you're done. And Brian had a heart condition, I'm honestly surprised he survived the wildest years of the BSB. I also have a heart condition and they think vocal cords paralysis is due to the heart problem. People with sick hearts need to rest. He recovered from an open-heart surgery in what - one or two months? He really abused his body, not with drugs or sex, but with work. I understand why he did it, he gave us all something very precious - his voice. But just like the little mermaid, he made a bad deal. He should have rested more, he should have found a way to protect his voice, because it was a real treasure. Anyway, I hope that medicine would find a way to one day recover his vocal cords. Because I truly loved his voice and I miss it, I miss him the way he was. But...it's crime and punishment, you know, it's life.

Boy bands like BSB are smart though. They do things as a band. They do things as solo artists as well but they’re not broken up. They just give space to each other to do their own stuff. Then when they miss being in a group, they perform in a group. Boy/girl bands should have that flexibility though.

I considered flying somewhere to see them again, then they announced they are coming back to my city! I bought pit tickets faster than you can say BSB! It was the best concert I've been to and I cannot wait to experience it again.

Nick needs to be the next Bond. He sure looks the part. And a big KUDOS to AJ for breaking traditional gender stereotypes with the nail polish! We as society should encourage men to free themselves from the confines of outdated, rigid gender norms and roles and express themselves freely, just like with women.

1. This rivalry is stupid, both groups are talented. It's 2020, get over it. 2. Aerosmith had the half-time and they invited *NSYNC to the Super Bowl. You are telling me you chose the anthem instead of the show? Something doesn't add up here Nick. 3. Kevin as always being classy.

Bsb and nsync rivalry never existed because, to be honest, nsync never got to the level of popularity Bsb had. Maybe at the height of their success, nsync was getting close to Bsb in the US, but in Europe they never got anywhere close to Bsb.

That's actually wrong.
