@@EvolutionIX219 I love Sublime with Rome, but they were their own thing. This feels more like Sublime, Rome is a little too polished, and Jacob sounds a lot more like Bradly, naturally. Plus after the first album, they only had Eric Wilson. Long Beach Dub All Stars were also awesome, though, they did not perform Sublime songs out of respect. Their new incarnation is also pretty good. If ever Jacob ever decides to move on from this I would love to see Eric and Bud continue as The Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh Band and just keep performing music from all 3 groups, with whomever. I say 3 because with Jacob they are just using the name Sublime. It's one hell of a legacy Bradley has left us.

I never did hard drugs because when I was young my father told me about how bad they were and it scared me a lot. I never knew he was actually taking them and struggling with addiction until after he died. That made me never want to touch opiates, and I never have. My mom told me the story too when she found out about his addiction. They were on vacation and he didn’t bring enough pills with him so he got sick, really sick, wouldn’t stop throwing up. From withdrawals. My mom didn’t know what was wrong. Then dad told her to ask her uncle who’s a dentist to prescribe him Oxy, to cure his sickness. They split up soon after that.

Yeah at first he was doing some unnecessary vocals but now he's getting the hang of it. Maybe a year or two down the line after getting more experience his voice will develope even more. He already sounds extremely similar to his dad

SD Original here... Followed Jakob when he was in "LAW". Met him while he was selling merch for one of his shows in OB (bought 2 shirts). I knew he was going to front Sublime from the moment I saw him with LAW. Search up his previous band, you'll see what I mean. He's not Bradley. He's got his own style, but heavily influenced by his father's music. Look forward to more new music (unreleased songs) from Sublime with Jakob and the boys. :^)
