As I started watching this, I thought to myself, David Blaine is the last great magician / illusionist alive. He's been doing it for 25 years (maybe more, IDK), but he is the only one that I would go and watch live. He has truly dedicated himself to his craft, has constantly gotten better, and has sacrificed quite a bit to make his dreams come true. There isn't anyone alive like him.....he is unique.....I have a lot of respect for his dedication to his craft.....I just can't say enough about him. Instead of a residency in Vegas, I wish he would go on tour. I am not likely to go to Vegan any time soon, but I would 100000% drive a couple of hours to a larger city near me to watch him for an hour or two.

This guy is so poised, just so calm but yet so humble. He is by far our generations best magician in my opinion. His concepts and just his ability to come up with and study / practice these tricks as we call them are impeccable but yet so surreal. I've been watching him for years and years, I love when he goes to the hoods and inner cities and just wows people. At the outset, I was committed to figuring out his trick. The card trick I think was pretty basic, but a way to get everyone 100% focused on the next tricks. Blew me away!! Now I wanna go see him perform in Vegas!! Legendary!!

Very simple actually all cards al assembled the same he had everyone cut it the exact same way then 5 same cares a random guy chose 4 everyone chose the 4th one. Then when Blaine did the card thing for jimmy to guess jimmy was in on the trick by saying 5 of hearts so everyone else had the exact 5 cards pattern in the first place. The illusion was him having Fallon choose which card “randomly in his head .” A great magician consists of one great seller. What did you figure out ?

Jimmy wasnt in on the trick, his is by far the easiest part of the trick, when david flicks the deck for him to see one, the deck has maybe 10 5oH placed in an exact way that basically it makes jimmy think he’s choosing when he’s being let to that card

One card is slightly a short one in each deck so when you cut the deck it always cut to a certain card. All five card in the chosen five are 5 of hearts. He forced Jimmy in choosing a card. Rest of it I Don't know 😂

@@jodaf1n_67 yes that exactly how I works. I do that trick all the time you can try it yourself if you have a deck just cut the edges of the card and place it inside the deck. Ask anyone to cut the deck they will cut it to exactly the shorter card. There are numerous ways to do it though this is one of the most easiest

Watch the nail eating trick at .25 speed. You can see he never eats the nails and only ends up keeping like 2-3 in his mouth which he tucks either between his teeth and cheeks or under his tongue. Also, watch his throat. He never swallows. Not saying this to discredit his amazing illusion just wanted to clarify that he doesn't actually consume any nails. David Blaine is the GOAT btw. 🧙‍♂️

The eating nails part was good, I could immediately tell that he wasn't actually keeping ANY of the nails in his mouth, his timing of blocking his mouth with his hand and using his tongue to push them out was just a teeny bit off.

If anyone hasn’t seen the full broadcast of the balloon project he did it’s fcking unbelievable. It’s almost 3 hours long and at the end I wished it had lasted longer. The back story of his career, relationship with his daughter , and everyone and everything that went into the project is too good to even be a movie script. This man’s life cannot be a 100% human existence.

i'm actually blown away that david has opened up, even though it's a sponsorship, to now teach some methods including some of his own. for over 2 decades he purported that there were no tricks, implying he was a real life wizard. he took himself and his career as seriously as a modern magician could and it's truly his most mind blowing stunt that he's now opening up behind the curtain himself.

I mean if someone wants to learn his magic go right ahead but you literally have to train like a Buddha while enduring lots of physical strain and building mental toughness. This magician brings his tricks to a whole new level, by actually performing what you are seeing. One of a kind, very dedicated magician.
