The people from the other vault weren’t actually vault dwellers. They were raiders who infiltrated that vault, killed all the people, put on their suits and pretended to be them so they could gain access to Lucy’s vault.

Fallout new vegas was my first fallout game to play and never paid attention to any notes or terminals from other vaults on my first playthrough. It wasnt until like a year later i saw a youtube video about the vaults and blew my mind on how messed up the vaults where

@@shanehebert396 Not every vault. Some of them were considered "control vaults", which they intentionally left alone to use as a baseline comparison to the ones they were actively experimenting on. The control vault's deaths were mainly related to equipment failures like the water chips.

Pretty happy that there are SO many details in this for the gamers. For example, all the visuals in the vault are accurate. The med kit on the wall, etc. and when she opens the medkit, the thing she pulls out is a stimpack (because it looks like one). During the fight in the vault, one of the raiders puts an inhaler up to his mouth and if you played the games, you know that's Jet and what it does (because it's the same item in the game). The power armor is like in the games, too.

Post Apocalyptic Retro Futurism doesn't exactly roll of the tongue. The "past" in the show, is the future that people of the 1950s envisioned. The actual year of the bombs is 2077. There is a divergence from reality, in the early 1950s, that continues on through until the end.

It's really hard for someone who doesn't know the universe to follow Fallout. There is so much lore and so much that we don't know yet, but I think the show did a pretty good job of explaining everything to those who don't know and at the same time not boring fans.

The ghoul is the cowboy from the beginning of the episode. He says the same "Us Cowpoke" line to his daughter before the bombs drop as he does to the three guys he kills at the end. Please don't consider this a spoiler, cuz it's really not, just easily missed. But need to keep it in mind as 219 years have passed and he's still kickin'.

not a fun fact: if you really stare at a nuclear explosion that long you are probably blind for a good time. also about tv being black and white: in fallout universe they invested more on machinery and nuclear power than the eloctronics, they lagged behind in stuff like it were in 60's.
