The kills are more brutal and realistic in the originals, you can also mod fallout 2 and change your characters stats to make them super op, tweak with perks, change guns in the game , give your character long hair, smoke, slaughter whole villages like its nothing, go invincible and a couple of other things, why complain about the graphics (not that you are) if Grand Theft Auto started out as a low graphics birds eye view shooter and not a 3d open world shooter that everyone has played, lol graphics dont mean shit, its all about nostalgia and if you have fun with it

Maybe it's because some of those endings are not normally available due to errors or gaps in game code. For example, deathclaws from Vault 13 are destined to die - you can't save them from Enclave raid (note that they didn't even bother to make any decent image for "good" ending - they just slapped old Vault 13 promotional poster there - while they did bother to make a picture of Goris' corpse; you're not supposed to get good ending for deathclaws subplot).

New Arroyo probably would’ve played a role in Interplay’s original Fallout 3 if the company making the game wasn’t shut down due to financial issues and the fallout series bought by Bethesda in the years to come. Maybe in Fallout 5, maybe in Fallout 6, maybe not.

This game has endings for all political visions of a post-war California. Either independent cities each one with their rights and wrongs, or everyone in a federation sharing their rights but also absorbing their wrongs. Democratic expansion being challenged by pragmatism Isolationist independence being challenged by empathy It's been some 20 years since I first seen some of these endings, it's so refreshing to see it again under a new light.

In this game, I think the best endings are those in which the communities joined the NCR as it meant rebuilding a united civilization. Except for New Reno. In that citi'es case, I think the best ending is the one in which the Wrights take control over the city and turn it into a more lawful and ethichal place that expands by its charisma alone. I don't want society to be rebuilt throught shady deals and assassinations. The only gangster I allow to prosper is Don Guizmo, as he belongs to an era before the NCR, and therefore, he's the best chance of Junktown to prosper due to the lack of alternative more legal investiments since society is pretty much shattered.

The game is bugged for the deathclaws to die. Even if you fix Vaul 13's computer, the game will pick the bad ending. Im not exactly sure, but Restoration Project kinda fixed that bug. I only remenber that, during my playthrough i fixed the vault computer, got the navcom parts in the storage room, and since i was'nt strong enough to enter Navarro and kill dr. Schreber, i just made the favor of never going back to Vault 13 after grabing all that stuff. And then i got the good ending after beating the game.

The endings are per place. You can get good endings in one place and evil ones in others, in a single run. Evil is subjective, and this game brushes maaany grey topics. But most people will agree that slavery/servitude and racism are universally evil. Sure, the enclave has only one ending, they die. And the enclave embodies the true racial purity evil in the game, but they're not alone; vault city shares their mentality (even if vault citizens would be mongrels to an enclaver). Difference being Vault City can live on, and in the worst ending, can oppress ghouls into slavery, maintain their servants, and treat the outsiders like shit for their birth outside VC walls. So evil can triumph in this game, even without the Enclave. Same goes for Den becoming a slaver central, or New Reno falling to the Salvatores in a bloody massacre.

Recommend downloading the two unofficial patch is that fix all the bugs/quests correct and balance the weapons .. well as extra towns and quests dialogues voices which were in the original source code .. it's literally 4 times better than their release version

@The Nova renaissance new vegas actually mentions that vault city exists and is still operating as a city near the events of nv so its safe to assume they didn't die out. Now if they're independent or a state of the NCR is an entirely different thing but seeing as how imperialist the ncr are in new vegas it is quite safe to assume that VC was annexed as they are nothing more than a slaving city state (2 if gecko is independent with them) while the NCR is a democratic nation spanning multiple towns and cities.

I'm just getting bored of modern fallout. The story is getting worse with each installment, I think the only one I genuinely liked last was fallout NV, and 3. I love isometric gaming and this was just an amazing game, my favourite from the series in terms of the story and gameplay. Marcus is best companion and I love seeing him in New Vegas.
