The last time I played the Restoration Mod I found so much stuff I didn't know about. And this video talks about even more stuff! Also, interesting to see Tim Cain didn't want to include real religions in the game because of potential backlash, but I always figured it was because it makes for a better game to have a more non-descript world that speaks to a broader group of people. Regardless of his intentions, I think the end result is better.

Kaga has a shit ton of HP. I remember killing him midgame with a crit cripple/knockout and bursting him down. He's fun to fight but you need some stims or companions absolutely Abbey's music is legendary

Protip: Don't get the restoration mod if you have previous save files; the "restoration" will corrupt your save files and make them unplayable. Lost over 130 hours of gameplay...

In regards to not having the rainbow federation in the game, maybe rather than cancel culture or whatever, the devs just found their implementing of it to be more offensive than funny, and didn't want to risk coming off too insensitive to certain members of the fandom

Well for having 1 year of development and loosing part of its team it ended up really well... aside from the bugs of course. My only real complain is that I couldn't side with the Enclave all the way down, it would be the PERFECT ending arc, mostly because my character was a mob ganster, slave dealer, jet retailer, mercenary terminator type bitch codenamed: Wolf who "happily" married a random chick just to sell her to the Golden Globes, Inc. (a Division of NukaHub.com) and cash in enough money to finance a new, fresh and revamped slave prostitution bussines in the wastes. Now that I think about it... it would be perfect to have the ability to sell Deathclaws into the prostitution thingy... specially because the idea of throwing random female survivors of Arroyo into a room with a fully erected radioactive Schwarzeneeger type Deathclaw would be a perfect scene for a morbid film for the Golden Globes. :D Yes... when I Role Play, I DO ROLE PLAY! :^)

You should have used option to show companions in different kind of armours when installing the mod, I noticed Cassidy was still showing his leather armour while you had APA so I'm assuming Cassidy was at least using T-51b power armor. Sulik is absolutely awesome in one of those with his war paint on it.

I hope the enclave going to the moon is a plot in their next appearance. After their defeats I can see them trying to escape from a hostile wasteland to purge it from a place where noone can reach them. Also, Van Buren would have featured a location known as "Bloomfield" which had rockets that the enclave wanted for that purpose, and they have outposts in chicago. If we get another Midwestern fall out I hope that's the one.

Why do you keep saying the Brotherhood is homophobic? AFAIK there's nothing like that in any of the games. I'd also be vaguely interested in a larger lgbt community in fallout but don't see why they'd clash so much with the brotherhood, as long as they weren't themselves hoarding tech the bos wanted lol. As it is, just having a few more explicitly queer characters handled as well as they did Veronica and Arcade would be great. Representation hasn't been totally great in rpgs of late (cyberpunk was a very mixed bag with no great successes and a few questionable bits of writing) and few rpgs have companions as fun as Fallout.

How would the submarine make sense in the game? Unless you fill it with Enclave soldiers and operators. This automated sub would have attacked Enclave ships as well. And don't give me this crap, the Enclave only uses Vertibirds. You can't transport _everything_ by air! Large cargo and equipment is bound to be transported by ship and trucks. And there should also be some civilian ships around, or not? They have super computers and a Spacecraft in SanFran. But no operating boats? Don't be ridiculous! Just because we didn't fought any aquatic creatures in F1&2. That doesn't mean, there is nothing outthere to be caught.

Fish were cut from the game so the developers planned to put some sea life in there ...My guess is that they didn't have time and they did all they could with the time they had ..so maybe if they had another year or whatever they could have fleshed it out a bit more so the submarine makes more sense ...Maybe they would have added some boats .. I don't know but a lot of stuff was cut from the game.. You're assuming that they didn't have anything like what you said planned just cause its not in the files ..I don't know if they were gonna add anything to make the submarine make more sense but if they had more time ..we never know ..all we know is that they cut it out ..as I said in the video I would have been fine with the Submarine not being functional and something you don't have to visit (an optional location)

Avellone contribution to Fallout 2 is mediocre at best as the only one of his ideas to make it into the final game was the terrible New Reno storyline. He also tried to ruin the NCR by making them a bad guy group more akin to the Enclave, because Avellone has a hate boner for America and thinks if America were destroyed it should never be revived. What a total loon. So I'll take the shit in his "fallout bible" with a grain a salt.
