@@2xth I have a little experience with the Creation Kit and other editors for Fallout 4, and I can tell you that making a gun shoot buildings as projectiles would be a LOT of extra work. There might be exceptions, but for the most part, buildings in Fallout 4 are not moveable objects.

Idea: Fallout, but bullets are magnetic. Any living creature acts as a weakish magnet, influencing a bullets path. Pipe pistol 300m? You may just nail it. Super mutant in 15m with a shotgun? All his pellets would like to meet your cranum. Nik is shooting somewhere vaguely behind you? I think he's going to introduce you to his friend 'police brutality'. Shot that you would usually hit? Hope that dogmeat isn't close enough to the bullet path to deflect it. This may turn out either really chaotic and fun or too hard to play.

Fallout 4 has hitscan guns, which basically means it fires a straight line out from your gun, the exact position determined by accuracy and whatnot, and that line decides whether the bullet hit or not. Aside from projectile weapons like the Fat Man, the Plasma Gun, Bowling Ball Launcher and those sorts of physical projectile weapons, there is no actual bullet being fired, just a visual effect. So unfortunately, while a very cool concept, unless the entire gun system was modded out to use physical projectiles, which I don't know is even possible in Fallout 4, this idea is impossible.

Hm, actually, on closer thought, it might work. If you took the missile projectile and reused the tracking missile mechanic, tweaked a bit to track any enemy in a mimicry of magnetism, then replaced the physical projectile with damage-scaled and size-scaled bowling balls, it might work. The issue then becomes that it relies utterly on Fallout 4's physics engine working. I imagine without a very strong clean-up system, it would quickly become lag-city.

Incidentally you can make a rocket pistol without any mods. If you mod-glitch a targeting computer from a missile launcher onto a 10mm pistol that doesn't have any barrel modifications, it will fire seeking rockets instead of bullets, but still consumes bullets for ammo.

Honestly I prefer missiles. With that video there was very few instances where you weren't destined to blow your balls off. This one actually feels more like a fun time.

You could give your companion or settlers a minigun too. For companions you need to give them a lot of ammo though. Settlers only need one round to fire infinitely. Also if you happen to have the settlement ambush kit you could call off an attack to your settlements and with everyone firing missiles that would be quite a bloodbath.

It's soooo easy to kill your companion or have him killed... it would be a shame, if someone connect e.g. Dogmeat's life with yours. If your companion dies, so do you. Wow... I would hate to have to do that... but you... :D I REALLY hope this is possible.^^

You can do something even worse with the wacky weapons, Combat Shotgun with doublebarrel and two enhanced beam splitters and set projectile to Missile/Cannonball, one shot is about 30-50 projectiles

The missiles have guiding capacity, they're just usually fired in game by prewar launcher that doesn't utilise that ability. The final upgrade for the scope is activating the guidance capability so they're missiles

If you make this a Publick mod to solve the missle problem you can have all bullet loot replaced with missles like the mini gun gives you a thousand 5mm bullets to kill the raiders and death claw make it where you get 1000 missles instead

your immortal but you have normal health bar and anytime it goes to 0 it goes back to 100 but you still do the ragdoll and after a few seconds you go back to 100 hp and un-ragdoll

It is completely possible to make a gun that fires rockets in the base game btw. You do a precisely timed glitch to put a targeting computer onto a weapon of your choice. I used it to make Killer Queen, Bites the Dust
