also the amount of caps generated is based on how many settlers are in your settlement

Good vid, thanks for the information. My only suggestion would be to not flicker the view left/right so quickly and rapidly. It gets kind of jarring, as opposed to steady or slower movement.

Where did their inventory come from? It looks on mine like its what I've stored in my work shop what if I want to keep that stuff for building?

One interesting fact. Say you have 3 weapon shops . You sell 700 caps worth of junk to one. The other 2 will also have minus 700 ? Is it possible? Also I see some random supply line coming from the settlements that has shops. They usually end up in around goodneighber.

Do I have to have my shops on the ground? Ive built a shopping center about 10ish stories high and I just noticed that I dont have any caps. This is after several game days and even rl days have gone by. All the settlers go up there. I even have a huge community bedroom and the common room is up there. Im thinking maybe the caravans cant get up there to trade

I would try just placing a temporary one on ground level as a test to see. I have never built my shops up high before lol. It would make sense that the caravan cant reach it to trade.

What happens when You buy an item in one of the stores? Do you get 100% Back in your workshop?

I get it its 8 years old video, so my chance is low to get answer, but i see people hang around bar always, its the only shop people hang around, it also feels like its only store generating caps in my settlements (all of them).. So my question is do you actually need to produce goods like clothes or weapons or whatever in your settlements to them actually sell them and generate caps? I know i have extra food and drink most of my settlements which if you think it would fit to this.. Any thoughts or straight answer for this question? Im on my 4th game and i still dont know... over 250 hours in (yes i got interested of this game cuz of series, even tho i did buy orginal game back when it came out but i was busy with other games and this didnt look good enough at the time)

As far as I can tell, cap generation is based off of your settlement population. So if you have 10 people at a settlement doing nothing, they will generate the same as a settlement with 10 people assigned to something. Hope this helps!

@@JokaGamer680 It does answer the question, but im still confused, i got over 20 people (almost) in every settlement and they generate so slowly caps... I did look some video that you actually need to be other place than that settlement you want money from and you need 24 hours to generate caps, but still it feels like if i got one bar it generates as many as all other types of stores in same time. This makes me confused does it actually work as it should... This game still have tons of bugs and every time i play it has different bugs, so im thinking does this just bug as million other things in this game.. I cant belive this old game havent even got proper loading times.. i dont use mods at all.. i know there is fix, but i didnt get that working either, maybe some bug i dont know.. so many of them..

So you can trade with them and they generate caps over time but if you buy from them...they just keep the caps then?

It's the worst fallout game ever. To complicated, too much detail. First I have to build a shop to gain the pssibility to sell the junk?? And when I will come to play the game :-))) ? Life is too short.

Bruh you can sell junk in any store, not in settlement stores only. I went all the way to talking to the Father in the Institute before realising I could build shops in my settlements

Dont play any other fallout game then because those are way more complicated.
