CB9611 New to this game on Xbox one. Can someone explain to me. I have salvaged everything that is salvageable in sanctuary hills but all that i have been able to build is a few walls. I feel like there is an entire map full of scrap but it is untouchable. All of the things you are able to build using the workshop and out of everything i have collected I have only been able to build 4 turrets,a power source and 4 walls. what am i missing.

I never liked to build my own player home with the build menu since I was never really good at I always just used the players prewar house but I’ll definitely use this as a player home thanks for the tutorial

Wish I had watched this video before I spent an hour or so going through, building and failing lol. Also, store any incorrect walls guys - this might be a no brainer for some, but I realised after a while scrapping walls wastes your rescources! I luckily went back to an older save file.. but arfgfgddgdfg why can't this be as simple as building walls in the sims? :'(

it's a cool idea, and easy to customize I like how you use prefab to make rooms inside the house, a lot of us always have no inside walls but I'm working on it actually I will use this to improve my building at graygarden (I've a video of it if you want to check). btw I've already subscribed to your channel and I'm glad I did =)

Anyone have any idea how to build things like patios? Is that just with the structures again? Also putting down structure supports on top of the slab of concrete - what is your reasoning for that? I simply just put the wooden floors on top of the prewar concrete slabs left over from the houses...

If I understand what your description says than assuming you have access to console mods a mod I suggest is "scrap that settlement" it allows you to scrap more stuff including the bush that was in your way

What buttons do you use to put the platforms on the bottom halfway underground, in my game it stays above ground and does not want to lower down into the ground. Nice house.

Richard Viade simply go on your settings and click on display, you will have the choice to change the color of your pip boy and menu

You know what signs I'd really like to see in a update? Signs like "Work hard or die", "A Hard working settler is a live settler!" "Sleep and you will be shot" etc. I'd also like a synth detector thing, so you run it over your settlers and you know which ones to deport to your massive Synth prison camp at Spectacle Island.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Thanks for this amazing video. I didn't copy your style of house but I did use your techniques. I believe I made my best house so far. (I suck at building.) I made a Lounge/bar upstairs and i'm going to have a sleeping quarters on the first floor. I also have a deck and a balcony. I couldn't use all wood so I had to improvise. I used a concrete doorway and Wall since the wall had a window.
