I enjoy your videos. One request is when you showcase firearms include the ADS view. There are a lot of mods out there that have sights that don't line up correctly. Usually the rear of the weapon is lower than the muzzle and I suppose since the front sight matches the point of impact the mod author and some users don't care. However I don't use mods with poorly aligned sights. They bug me.

Great list! I was using the HK G3 by Utherien and noticed you can convert it to 5mm for increased ROF but decreased damaged. Since the player character often has a lot of 5mm after a while, it's perfect for getting rid of a lot of it in a hurry! The whole list looks great and I'm sure I'll be trying all of them.

I just found your channel, and it's awesome. So I apologize if my comments feel like spam: The R91 is actually not based on the G3 platform, but the G3's predecessor. The CETME rifle platforms that were actually contracted for Spain, both in a proprietary cartridge just before NATO standardization and in .308 (7.62x51mm NATO). The CETME rifles were pretty effective at what they sought when they made them for Spain, and after restrictions were lifted on Germany and German manufacturing companies, H&K, the designers and contracted company to make CETME rifles, decided to revisit the platform but for Germany's armed forces instead.

another good ar mod is the FN FAL - SA58 by wanaming0. this very obviously adds in the FN FAL which is pretty customizable and you can make it tacticool ultra modern to more of a woody design (less customizability but looks awesome). plus, it adds in extras like -the boneyard, a new location northeastern of sanctuary and northwestern of tenpines bluff. it includes a dungeon called the bone zone that features a bunch of wana's friends, -each sporting a unique clothing item. most tote a cardboard mask unique to themselves, while others wear costume heads. then there's a skeleton and a bright green ghost. all of these can be looted and worn. -a lot of uniques (also mostly found in the bonezone) *-there's sugar, spice, and everything nice.* has an ultra large magazine and a unicorn paint job aswell as some unicorn attachments. shoots rainbow lasers and deals 100% more damage to unicorns. *-there's white mink,* which has a kukri slice anim for the bash, a red cloth tied around every full stock, a custom, white paint job, and a sniper scope. *-SMH my FAL* has a 69x scope. *-FALanjaro* has some orange men riding the FAL *-mukumbura* just has a paint job you can get on a regular FAL lol *-the [CENSORED] special,* which is banana gun. banana mag banana bullet -there's also 4 normal uniques. 1 where a lot of children of atom have killed themselves. 1 surrounded by metallic monks. 1 where the railroad used to hide. 1 where the minuteman general once stood. -this mod also adds a kukri!!!! yayyy link to the mod: www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/40907 (make sure to read the fine print)

The military/police select fire version of the Mini-14 is an assault rifle by definition. Intermediate caliber: check, select fire: check, detachable magazine: check. Carbine and Assault Rifle are two terms that can be used both simultaneously and separately. The M4 Carbine is an assault rifle. The M1 Carbine is not an assault rifle. The AK-47 assault rifle is of a comparable size to the M4, yet is not a carbine. A carbine is a essentially a condensed version of a weapon. You take one weapon and make it smaller and it is a carbine. The AK is an original design and wasn’t shortened from anything, so it can’t be a carbine. So, the select fire Mini-14 is both an Assault Rifle and a carbine, considering it checks all the boxes for assault rifle and is a smaller version of the M-14/Springfield M1A.

My biggest issue with 90% of fo4 weapon mods is the naming convention they use doesn't fit vanilla In vanilla weapons are given generic names so its extremely immersion breaking to see your pip boy weapon list full of M4A1s next to 10mm pistol

7:30 Ruger made a model called the AC-556 which was a select-fire Mini-14. I'd say that qualifies it as an "assault rifle" by most definitions.

For good shotgun mods there is the Agency Arms Benelli M2, the Mossberg 500, the Widow Shotgun, Blade Runner Shotgun, Hunting Shotgun, CROSS Break Action Laser. You should also install the fix for the Lever action animation to get proper reload when the magazine is not empty. There is also a Spas 12 included in Combined Arms - Modern Weapon Pack, good retextures of the vanilla double barrel and Combat Shotgun. The Pancor Jackhammer didn't click for me but it's a good mod nevertheless. But yeah hard to find 10 I agree.

For shotguns I like the Ithaca model 37, Mossberg 500 (it’s a bit too tacticool for my taste though), the Steven’s shotgun, Remington 870 is nice but I think there have been multiple versions of it. I had the hunting shotgun but I struggled with its damage output. I also really like the Riot Shotgun by Cumble.

Used the Widow shotgun a while. But I mostly sneak/VATS/snipe because my game is set to Very Hard with 3x enemy damage. So out of sneak my companions get smoked instantly. I use a custom (not Nexus) sniper rifle and give them to companions too. I only use Companion Ivy and R4-04 for the most part, both very smart companions with excellent sneak and aim. I might whip out the shotgun after we get a raider stronghold or location down to just a couple enemies, and run up to them and blast them.

My favorite assault rifle is an R91 mod, that is no longer available, paired with an assault rifle replacer. So all assault rifles in my game are R91s. I want an M16 mod but I don't want all the bells and whistles that Deadpool's has. Just a leveled list or placed rifle that I can mod like any other weapon. No uniques. No collectible magazines required to unlock mods or paint schemes. Just a simple M16.

Thing's M4A1 is an excellent AR mod, probably does not have enough attachments to suit some folks, bit it surely gets the job done. Thing's G3 is in a similar vein, can't rate this guy highly enough CESP Team's Weapon Mod Overhaul touches every vanilla weapon to some extent. One outstanding fiddle is the handmade rifle. You can go from a tiny krink, to a Fo3 Chicom infiltrator rifle, to a full scale RPD. Cannot recommend this mod enough.

The Atchisson AA-12 is clutch for tacticool shotgunning. Has all the bells and whistles and maybe 10 or so camos. Always been a fan of the MTs255 Revolver Shotgun. It looks perfect for Fallout and you can make several variants from sawnoff handcannon to stealthy precision rifle. Benelli M3 Super 90, of course. MW replacers and it's dead sexy. Not the greatest attachments but you don't really miss them with this guy, and the skins are brilliant. That newer mod, Heavy Select Shotgun- it's completely fucking badass and it's like adding a new heavy weapon to the game as well as a shotgun, kind of helps round out the weapon selection. The Krait Viper shotgun mod is tremendous, very high tech and futuristic even, it's just a gigantic-ass download for one weapon, so it's not great for console. The quad barrel shotgun from the Fallout: Miami team is brutal and works perfectly for Fallout. The New Vegas Riot Shotgun is beastly, too, and lore friendly. I think there's at least two on Xbox and the one by Cumble has the edge I think.

Sony won't allow 3rd party files to be used on their system. So it means PS4 mods are restricted to whatever can be made using base game assets. New weapons, clothes, items means new models, textures etc. I think it was back when people were doing things like installing new operating systems to PS3s that caused them to implement that policy. A shame as it was interesting at the time seeing what you could do with the hardware other than play games.

the g3 is not an assault rifle, its a battle rifle the scar heavy isnt an assault rifle either like you mentioned it fires .308 like the g3 and its automatic therefore its also a battle rifle and not an assault rifle. the ruger mini14 is a semi auto rifle... far from an assault rifle.
