Fallout 4 won't start (launch) on full screen. Solved !!!

Full screen solution.
Before
bTopMostWindow=0
bMaximizeWindow=0
bBorderless=0
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=720
iSize W=1280
after
bTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=1
iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920

Okay. I have an Ultrawide (2560x1080). I have 2 options. Either I start the game in Fullscreen but with absolutely shitty resolution or I start it the normal good resolution but then it's not fullscreen...

I am having the same exact issue. I have an Ultra wide at 3440 x 1440 and it's doing the same thing you described. Didn't have the issue at first, installed the hi res texture pack, started doing it. I un-installed the high rez pack, still doing it.

I managed to get the game working on 2560x1080 at Fullscreen but my HUD is so fucked up that I can't play the game properly...

Kotilia HD What I ended up doing was right clicking on my desktop, gong to display properties, and pulling my resolution down to 1920 x 1080. I have to do that anyways if I stream to twitch because my capture card only supports 1080p. so it was a decent work around. but I still don't understand how all these other games support my full res, but Fallout doesn't.... smh

You need to restore your config files (Fallout4.ini, Fallout4Custom.ini, Fallout4Prefs.ini, Fallout4_Default.ini). There is something there.

The first time I tried this, it did full screen but wouldn't load the game (also crashed my PC). But after rebooting, it worked fine. I would suggest rebooting your PC before opening the game back up.

If you can only see 1/4 of the game/menu change bmaximize to 0

Open with the Fallout4Launcher in the game files. Using a shortcut or something on the taskbar will not work.

So i got mine to work on my msi. Where they change the zeros to 1. Do it the other way. If there is a 1. Make everything a 0

This is borderless... it's not full screen. People want REAL fullscreen because FO4 runs like ass when modded in borderless. They want the full performance they're supposed to get and they can ONLY get that in EXCLUSIVE full screen. Which means bBorderless HAS to = 0. The problem is the game WILL not run like this.
