FO76 is extremely underrated. It's been one of my favorite games for years now. While I played pre Wasterlanders, I didn't get into it until after. But it is by far the best open world RPG I've ever played. It checks all the boxes in this kind of game thsr I'd want, that, to my knowledge, no other games checks. Love the continued development they're putting into this. Can't wait to see what's to come.

I started playing after the Wastelanders and i've loved it. Majority of bugs were fixed and the world seemed much livelier then videos at the start made it seem (world without NPC's was really dumb idea..). Luckily i bought the game when it was on huge discount back in the day :D I've sunk some 700 hours into the game and although i have months long pauses inbetween, i get always drawn back. With the new area open and big update coming, seems it's good time to hop back!

@@alaric_ My only regret for not playing pre-Wastelanders is being unable to get the veteran outfit... I want that AN/PVS 5 so much 😭 But yeah.. like, I love New Vegas for the story and quests, but 76 just has something about it that keeps me coming back. I think it's the combination FO4's gunplay with a Skyrim style world map and early-mid 2000s multiplayer game style interactions with other players (which reminds me of old CS:S zombie mode servers). And the weapon variety! I especially love all the Fallout 1, 2, 3, and NV weapons 76 has. I'm a sucker for nostalgia :P still hoping they add a Colt 6520 at some point.. In a way, it's like the Fallout equivalent of Quake Champions. Underrated, pays tons of tribute to the games that came before it, has lore trying to better connect said past games, and most of all, had its reputation murdered before it was able to even take its first real step. I'm considering playing fallout 76, none of my friends want to give it a try so I'll be solo. What can I look forward to with this game? Also I'm the type of player who enjoys quests quests and NPCS

@@CARLGULA Their loss! It's a lot of fun. If you've played fallout 4, you can expect a lot of similarities as far as game play mechanics and base building. Where FO76 sets itself apart is of course the multiplayer aspect. There are lots of NPCs you'll run into, some will even take up residence at your camp if you offer it to them. And there are so many side quests, I still haven't finished the main quest myself haha. There are a lot of different events you can do too, most which require help from other players, that will provide rewards like plans and items you can only get from that event. That said with events, be sure to wait until other players arrive before you start it if you are the first to arrive. There are also public workshops you can take over and build up that will generate specific resources for you, depending on the workshop. Other players can attack your workshop and take it, so it's up to you and your friends to defend it. The workshops are one of my favorite aspects of FO76 for sure! You'll also end up farming for legendary weapons you like, there are a lot of good legendary abilities that can be combined so finding what you want is a grind, but will be much more achievable with this Milepost Zero update when it rolls out since you'll be able to learn specific legendary abilities. Eventually you'll be able to launch nukes as well if you follow the enclave quest line! Depending on where you launch the nuke it will trigger a large event that almost everyone will join. Lots of great times to be had!

The gameplay is inexcusably bad. So many points, mainly during expeditions where I thought "who thought this was fun? Who programmed and tested this, and somehow passed it off as quality?". The meta aspect is something that should have NEVER come to Fallout, I shouldn't have to go for a bloodied build just for rifles to be usable when in past games all weapons have been viable. The perk card system is also not only a nightmare, but an objective downgrade from past entries. I've recently put a lot more time into the game, but I can't bring myself to enjoy it, especially after completing most of the content. I'll be damned if I'm going to force myself through the slog that is levels 1-50 again, and I usually create endless characters in Bethesda games. It's been improved since launch: but that's not saying much at ALL (not to mention that the aesthetics are even worse than FO4. It doesn't even feel like an apocalyptic game anymore). You just have incredibly low standards

I think it's great that the current creative leader of a historically divisive game puts their face out there. Add another dedicated pvp mode not nuclear winter that has to constantly be updated but battles that pop up across the wasteland that you enter the circle area you choose the faction to fight for then your stripped of all gear and given faction specific armor and weapons that all have pros and cons and certain amount of stimpaks and the area would change everytime a battle started your camp could even be in the area once you enter the circle and choose a faction everyone not in your faction becomes hostile a fair game but if you need to pass through just hit an opt out option but you can’t fight or hurt anyone participating

Oooo I like the idea of spontaneous PVP zones. Would be rad to have special events there too, not just so you don't drop your junk, but also to incentivise people to participate. I fucking hate PVP in most games (except Quake) but I would be super down for something like that. Especially if the nameplates and map icons were disabled for enemies within the zone. I'd love to see some Arma-style natural stealth gameplay in FO76.

Been playing since release, my wife and I love our Fallout 76. I'm so happy with this update its going to be great, however I had one negitave. Please don't remove the ability to re-roll legendary stat's on weapons. I don't want to make a weapon, roll it, then have to scrap it, make another weapon, roll it. It's just adding an extra step and expense. Just make it so you can re-roll a stat if you are not happy with it, like we currently have. Thanks for hearing me out :)

Yes, an Enclave story update is one of the story updates I also want. I also want a story update on that Communist camp that's in Skyline Valley (It's at Camp Liberty in the bottom right corner of the Skyline Valley area. If you haven't been there, go there and prepare for a battle and be sure to read all the notes in the main computer in Camp liberty's main building... VERY shocking information in there. Some of it may possibly tie into the Enclave in a really weird and unintended way). I also want a story update to whatever the heck is going on in the basement of Slumber Mill hotel in Skyline Valley (brains, robots, and it looks like Biv is in there?!?).

Fairly new to the franchise and I gotta say I love this game. Kinda glad I wasn’t playing before they fixed it. I keep wondering why they didn’t take this route with Elder Scrolls Online. They could have kept the core mechanics from Skyrim instead of going for a point and click MMO.

Same I keep wasting my time efforts, not enjoyable at all. Lost some of my rewards on previous season because too short not enough time to finish it because of bad system scoring. Missed out the event sometime because of unfriendly time ending. One of my friend list she left the game for good because of awful greed and grinding silly new system scoreboard. She was practically a full time 1st member full support Bethesda Nevermind the losing of legacy weapon... But yeah she left for good because of the bloody greed Bethesda Tod.. I remembered she got everything from the Atom shop shop... I keep playing minimum with no 1st member now
