Apparently fallout 76 is a set up for fallout 5. 76 was made to see what would happen without human NPCs and with free building area, so fallout 5 would be online with npc's and building ability(maybe like the camp system but idk).

I've been doing multiple characters. My son and I play together so we have a crafter/full luck looter on each account and go scrounge together. then craft for each other on the same characters. It's nice to not have to load up on non-combat perks on our "main" characters. But i like to play with specials. I have a pure melee, shotgunner, heavy, etc. Without the ability to respec specials, it kind of pushes you to play with alts. I learn new spots every time through the map.

Another fun fact about memory is you have to read something 6 times over while spacing each time you read the info out over a week or month and you will intake 80% of the information you have read.

You should make a pinned comment with timecodes for each faction. The convenience will keep potential viewers from clicking off if they're only trying to find one faction and don't have the patience to scrub through the video. Especially since this video is already very convenient by being straight to the point and providing map locations. The latter being something of which most channels fail to provide when making similar videos.

I don't know if you'll care, or even read this, but I would enjoy an abridged 'lets play' of 76 of all the people you meet, stuff you go through (i.e. dungeons, upgrades, cryptids, etc.), and of you reading notes and listening to holotapes.

Oxhorn is the king of lore, but I would like to see more focus on rewards or alternatives, like how you said theres different ways to get riverside manor quests. Im not finding a lot of info on rewards, particularly it would be nice to know more guaranteed spawns, or which quests have unique weapons. At the mid levels my focus is more on getting good stuff i can mod as i go along, finding plans and recipes especially, there's so many locations that I'd like a bit of direction

I’ve found one of the best ways to get plans is to buy them, capture and defend workshops, or do main quests. Also I seem to get a garage door blueprint every time I go to silo Charlie and kill the ghouls

Thanks for the informative video but let's be real. There's no real "joining" of any faction. Do some automated quests, get some of their gear and get a picture frame. There is no RPG infrastructure. Its basically a Fallout LARP

I vote yes on a new character for finding, exploring, and explaining lore. Go for the “Story Teller” build, and have fun with it. I myself just started a character for this as well, though I do not have a channel for telling my stories as you do. It’s still fun to do, and an interesting character build to play. Have fun with it!

In my experience, flash cards work for certain subjects, usually where heavy memorization is involved like Biology, Psychology, or even Chemistry. I did a Mathematics degree though, and I was strictly taking notes from lecture or downloading the notes the professors would post online, and I would review a list of definitions before each test I took, and that worked perfectly for me. So I guess it just depends on if the classes are memory-based or concept-based in determining how useful flashcards will be. I also had friends in Computer Science and Physics who wouldn't even write anything down during lecture. They would just show up and absorb the material, then ace all their tests... like how???

That's pretty interesting about using flash cards to study. The ironic thing is that my wife is a teacher, and she is not allowed to use flashcards when teaching. I asked her if it was just frowned upon, or taboo or if she really was not allowed to use them and she said she is specifically not allowed to use them, even though she has always believed they could help her students. It's sad that you're learning this skill now in college and it's helping you a lot, when there's a whole generation being taught in grade school without their use. Not only are they being taught without them, but we are actively and forcefully keeping this skill from them.

I found the BOS first in the Grafton dam. That eventually led me to camp venture, but to start the actual quest you have to read a terminal entry in Abbie's bunker. There's no way to get access to their elevator at the bos HQ without the quest started.

I honestly think,that the Encalve faction is the best and the most to be interested in.Since the whole fallout series,(apart from fallout 76),players weren't able to join or even try not to kill them.Another reason is how you can become evil when in some games you can't.(btw this is my opinion)

The best way to retain info is by teaching others. They say you absorb 80-90% of the material by teaching it to peers. This is because you need to take the info and be thorough in your examples and definitions so your peers learn it.

you wanna be OP get slugger lvl3 and expert slugger lvl 3 get some power armour and boom you can take on 4 scorch beasts at once with ease just gotta wait for them to land. I aint joking i do it all the time and the weapon I use is the Grognak axe with the passive to swing it 40% faster.

Any good mutations yet? I lucked out before I even hit level 30 with getting Healing Factor amd Carnivore. Now I just heal using lots of meat during a fight and end up healing to full when the fight is over anyways.

You know people are going to think that swimsuit + tin foil hat outfit is the 1 you get from the Mysteries questline.... The actual act of making the flashcards is another way for the brain to crunch information. Using the hint technique you mention is a way to stimulate recall. Combined with randomizing the cards and "quizzing", you stimulate the brain to open connections. Reading through over and over is an example of diminishing returns. All you do is, basically, wear a groove in the roadways of the brain. To truly learn, we need as many vectors of input as possible and a way to apply the information. On the lore videos -- Dude, if you're having fun, we'll get a fun video. If you do the story in order, it guides you through all of the major factions. I'm not counting Mothman, cuz I think more will come out about that stuff. Now, me, personally, I really like the Responders and the Free States. Combined with the BoS, they nearly stopped the Scorched. If the Enclave hadn't been pulling their usual nefarious BS, they wouldn't have started the Plague in the 1st place. Honestly, in this game, they're just another group of raiders that got what they deserved. There's a lot of poetic justice in this game. Well, it is Fallout, after all.

Raiders never came from poverty, in other parts of the wasteland they were vault dwellers who decided they didn't want to be farmers and that other vault dwellers owed them their crops cause they were practically family (vipers raider gang) also them being rich and having the mentality that they deserve more makes sense.

Actually, any chance for a Fallout 4 mod video of any sort ? Even a quick general checklist of mods that might have updated or something ? We haven't had one of those for a long while now. I understand Fallout 76 is the "hot" thing right now, but still... I appreciate the coverage of various Fallout 76 happenings and small lore tidbits, I won't be getting the game myself probably but I won't "moan" at anyone who might be enjoying the game, but If you wish to turn your channel into yet another Fallout lore hunter... I don't think most ppl followed you for that. Just saying... Anyhow, either way I wish you the best whatever you decide.
