I think they missed an opportunity with the enclave I remember first finding the congressional bunker and being disappointed as it was empty.

I’m hopeful for the future on the Enclave front. The places we’ve visited in Appalachia are not far from the important continuation of government site/ emergency broadcast HQ at Mount Weather. I’d be surprised if we don’t see it featured at some point.

I almost feel bad for those Enclave personnel, I cant imagine the torment they went through and I cant begin to fathom how Id feel discovering 45 years of work, data and studies were just... gone, with nowhere to flee but an apocalyptic wasteland above. Id be devastated

They found a way to capture flat woods monsters because the flat woods monsters are basically the predator version of regular zetans only smaller

You did an amazing job and it is very interesting how things turned out there. It seems if SODUS was programed with a better efficiency in handling tasks then they may never have tried to upgrade her. We then would have had a different story at this bunker. I wonder then what they would have been able to do with the research they were gather at this site. It seems over and over in 76, we see how what seems to been simple unseen mistakes lead to horrible consequences. It is as if Appalachia's true biggest enemy was themselves.

It would have been fascinating to have seen an interaction between the BoS and the Enclave so early after the war, had they survived. You have to wonder how the Enclave forces would react to you as an Enclave “General”. The BoS (or at least Knight Shin) isn’t impressed with the local BoS members that joined the dead organization via a computer system, but the Enclave in Fallout 3 recognizes a computer system as their leader for a time, so it’s not obvious.

It doesn't make any sense that the Enclave would build such a base without a manual overide for each system. I guess Bethesda is trying to point out misplaced confidence in automation which has been an ongoing theme in pre-war Appalachia.

Overconfidence in automation does seem to be one of the major themes for 76.

I always thought of it as, SODUS went lethal as a simple response to lengthy cue times It seemed likely someone at some point would request she shorten the cue time in some way, and perhaps after the MODUS installation, she took that to mean, clear it by any means necessary Cant add to the cue if everyone is dead. Would make sense why she tried to flood the housing area, and dispose of the drinkable water with one action, A single operation committing 2 acts that would reach 1 goal sure sounds like an AI that got a bit smarter than she was processing an order.

This comment took 2 years to send since SODUS couldn't send it quickly. But great video! I wish there was a way we could fix up that bunker to use as an Enclave home, lol.

Here is a task that fell flat and I assume was abandoned. The Enclave bunker at White Spring was a locked office . Part of getting it open was a vote machine task and you had to make it to all the tents before time ran out . I would love it if you did research on this from year one players that may remember it . The other was supposed to be connected to other locked palm scan doors . That I was never able to figure out .
@IrresoluteCartographer11 ай бұрын
That locked office theoretically belongs to the president, and is part of an event that never came to fruition. My understanding is that players would be competing to be “elected” president, which would give them access to the office and the presidential power armor within.
@martinmiller252911 ай бұрын
@@IrresoluteCartographer there was a glitch to use power armor to get in to that office to look inside . I don't know of power armor prize , I assume it is a paint prize later given or purchased . I do not know of any video that was made for the success of that secret task but was fun to try and disappointing I was unable to figure a way to complete (maybe with 4 poeple . Thaks for the videos . I enjoy watching . The game has changed so much from day 1 . Disappearing known plans and stared weapons changing fro 3 to 2 star or other odd glitch issues is still a problem and as much as I love B gang design I may move on soon due to those issues . Real world money for lost plans , eh. Instability is a problem they have always had issue with . Too bad . Stories they create are some of the best in gaming industry . Thanks again . I have told a couple other players of you and they say you do good work also .

I wonder Irresolute Cartographer. Which faction in Appalachia had the best ideals.? Like which faction would you have wanted to control Appalachia before the scorched.? Personally I think it was the Free states that had the best idea.
@IrresoluteCartographer Жыл бұрын
History proved that the Free States were correct to fear the coming of the nukes and the government’s lack of concern for the people. They did great work after the war in saving the people of Harpers Ferry. The Responders stepped up in the aftermath and did laudable work to rescue the masses. Both persevered to fight the Scorched until their dying in that struggle. Both groups did great work, and had the worked together more closely they could have done even more. The Free States were more on top of the Scorched problem than the Responders, likely because they came into contact with them first, and in such a shocking and terrible manner. I think some sort of coalition government between the two would be preferable to either running things in total, but I will say that had the Responders listened to the reports from the Fall of Harpers Ferry, they may have survived the Scorching. If I have to pick between the two, the Free States seem to have been more practical about their situation than the Responders, and would probably have done a better job managing things overall. They did survive longer than the Responders, as it is, but whether you chalk that up to leadership style or simply their material means in having the bunkers, would be something to consider.

@@IrresoluteCartographer couldn’t agree more and if Taggerdy hadn’t been so focused on rescuing technology they could have acted like the new military for that government and the raiders would have probably all been killed or reduced to a great khan status.
