They NEED to do something for ultracites, fusion or plasma, like even let us combine half used ones atleast, ive almost lost a few raids because i load a plasma core with 20 shots left for example and you cant weed it out in your inventory. Love F76 but Bethesda is the third laziest company after Bungie and Activision

It's actually pretty easy to weed out the depleted cores, they should have a gauge showing their charge (can you not see it?) but the value also changes as they drain so you can just chuck any worth less than 200 caps. They also get used in order of charge, so if you're starting to load cores with anything less than a full charge then you can just dump all of them, everything you have left is drained and what you just loaded was the most charged among them. If you're sorting through your inventory before the raid to get rid of the depleted cores and still end up loading a depleted core at some point, that isn't because you missed one, it's because you did not bring enough cores in the first place. All of the core-based weapons will tend to leave their nearly-dead core in your inventory when you empty-reload, once you've burned through what should be all of your cores it'll then start loading the depleted cores you just burned through with only a handful of shots left.

Plasma cores are on used for the GP. Fusion cores are used in PA and both of the GLs.

I just found out today I have 247 plasma cores, idk why don't use the parking plasma so dumped 200 in the donations box, picked up the fusion core charger today also. So dumped another 70 fully charged core and will charge the others and dump them also since I only use power armour in nuke zones. I have saved so much weight in my stash box inventory by doing this. Like 200 pounds.

Hi Jim, I only have one question about this, it has Ultracite green decoration so does it charge Ultracite Plasma cores? if not it's pretty much DOA. I seem to get lots of plasma core from somewhere, I usually throw them away.

Someone did make a good point, what’s the point of rechargers if any used core never remains in your inventory after it’s used up? Just makes the whole thing redundant and takes up unneeded storage space if you can just farm more cores. The other problem is that ultracite variants are not able to be used in these rechargers, which means that after a certain level these rechargers become completely obsolete once you start making ultracite ammo.

I started a new character a few months ago and making early quest videos for newer folks. I am not sure about the Discords. I am sure they exist maybe with some larger Fallout 76 KZbinrs. I was thinking of making one for my channel last year, but it takes a lot of time and dedicated people to keep an eye on the conversations as they can go wild sometimes. I decided not too. Is Fallout 1st required to use it? In the same way its required to use the Ammo Box and Scrap Box. I have been planning to test it out and see for myself.

That is a very good question. This item is a reward for Fallout 1st members, or if you payed the 1500 Atoms for the Season Pass. Either or. This is what I use to do before I started making videos. I bought Fallout 1st for 1 month. Then I would cancel it a week later, just so I wouldn't be charged the re occurring charge the following month. Even though I cancelled it a week later, I still had the 1 month Fallout 1st for that month, then it just stopped because I cancelled it that week after buying it. I hope you know what I mean. Next, let say you by a 1 month Fallout 1st subscription. Then cancel it, like I mentioned. During that time you had the Fallout 1st membership, you bought this item using your tickets. Once your fallout 1st membership finished or ended, your character will always have this item it build and use at any time. I hope that makes sense. Thanks again and good luck.

I stopped using my plas-gat years ago because of all the partially full cores left over. Now i charge em, and always have full cores on me. Still get leftovere. But i feel its easier to deal with them now.

I think I have 17 cores. I have a habit of reloading often so I'm not reloading when getting attacked, but end up with half used cores cycling through. What is a good number to keep? I realize it's individual but 17 seems excessive. I don't know where I got my non-legendary Gatling plasma; I can't craft it and rolled Exterminator. On a side note, did you ever go for the pioneer backpack? Anyone else? I got 3 badges in two days from Stings and Things and Toxic cleanup... insane luck.

LOL, I am exactly the same. It is just a force of habit for me. I use many different weapons and some one have 5 ammo per mag, so I am always reloading habit going on myself. 17 is a lot. I don't use Plasma Cores, so I usually drop them or donate them. But, for example in my case, and you can use the same method, if you wish. I do use the fusion cores for my Gatling Laser. I usually have 4 cores always charging or fully charged ready to go in the fusion cores recharger. Then I have 4 on my person, using in my Gatling Laser. Sometimes I will get drops for that Fusion Cores, and I will keep 2 that are always full in my stash, but thats it. So 10 in total. I hope that helps.

It will charge all 4 cores ar the same time, you can make gateling lasers, and they will have one plasma core each.

Gatling lasers do not use plasma cores. Only Gatling Plasma weapons. Neither charging station will charge the ultracite version of a plasma or fusion core.

Wow Jim you must be grinding hard !? No upgrading code charging though? ...jeez, to think I was going to drop a months pass on the last day of the season too, oh well should have anticipated this! Bethesda are double dealing barstewards. I'm currently level 36 as a regular player Fyi we are An estimated 14% through this season, 83 of 97 days left according to NKs site. Double score weekend incoming! (19th dec) Next x2 xp date is 13th feb, so we cannot rely on anything to boost significantly till then so need to be rigourous with the routine use of other buffs through this season.
