Hey I confirmed it if interested. Auto axes base is 23, so 1000% should be roughly 230 damage if you aren't using any other effects like 40 pa,etc. My damage went from 58 and maxed at 295. An increase of 237 = roughly 1000 %. Awesome find. I'll share one of my own. Pinpointer's remained multiplicative for regular attack damage at 1.5x

I need to get pounders to drop to make the farming more efficient but something I’ve had happen a few times is you can jump on the robot and you will kinda sink into him some but if you land in the right spot and shoot him you with get weak point hits for actual damage instead of 0 and when you reflect damage with power armor it heavily hurts him as well I’ve had him down to half health before “damage phase” even starts but i haven’t been able to consistently land in the right spot maybe 2 or 3 times in 10 runs so far

I JUST made my Auto Axe EXACTLY like this last night, same exact legendary stats as yours. It’s absolutely broken and does huge damage. And that’s with NO melee damage perks, just my daily driver bloodied commando build and it still does huge damage.

Finally got the drop after 100+ runs. I was doing a vampire heavy gun followed by the anti auto axe, but now I just switched to a vampire auto axe with the anti auto axe and pounders on it, it takes less than 90 seconds per run with this combo. Key was to push luck up as high as possible while in PA and then depend upon ricochet to take the shield down. This also meant there was no maintenance needed and you can just go to a simple full health build. I have run this a little over 200 times now (recovering from a surgery so I have no life for 2 weeks) and finally got all the PA plans but still have not a seen a couple of of the mods drop at all. @turtle, take a look at a quad pepper shaker, with explosive and Fracturer’s,…. It is pretty funny to use, just snap it into anything and you will see explosions going off everywhere. I think it is blowing up for more than what is on the card, it really did a number on the Queen.

I watched yesterday’s melee build video and the later stream. Spent much of today farming the guardian! I was lucky enough to have the Pounders mod from an earlier run but didn’t realise how powerful it was. Thanks for the instruction!

If you look at his hp its auto stimming & If you look at he perk cards he has Born Survivor at 3 stars, which uses a stimpak when you fall below 40 percent. On top of that there is a power armor mod, medic pump, that will autostim when you fall below 50 percent, and he must have a shit ton of stimpaks and your weapon should have auto heal.

yeah the robot's attacks can push you off the platform into the electrified area. take a close look at the arena, you should be standing on the inner ring that raises separately from the others. reposition yourself from time to time if you can't get the initial jump right. it'll still work as long as you stand on the platform. if you need to use the blast doors, simply hop up onto the inner ring after. Just make sure not to touch the electrified death trap while jumping lol

More items you unlock, harder it gets, ie you need 3 effects that 1%*3=3% or 1 in 33. You have all effect except 1 that's 1%*1=1% or 1 in 100

Just use a super stimpack yourself anytime your health gets a bit low, you can bind it to a keypress. I die as well sometimes if I don't pay enough attention and don't use a stimpack quick enough, it just happens.

You need a full set of troubleshooters for this fight for the sake of tanking the damage, that’s 75 % reduction instead of 30% it’s a massive difference for this fight. Also use a magazine or the robot companion perk for extra damage resist

Medic pump on power armor I find extremely useful, also remember if you have healing factor mutation that cut down chem effect even stimpacks by - 55% as base amount, can be reduced by class perk.

You are firing the mini gun to activate the bullet shield perk, which then returns the robots damage to itself, dropping its shields quickly, then you have about 30 secs or so to melt the robot with auto axe.

Probably vampires so he survives the attacks. Seams like the turret is temporary stunned after the shield drops so he can go full damage instead.

I genuinely do not know if the 4 star effect is bugged - I think it may just be a wild case of multiplicitive increase. Pinpointer effectively performs with a 1.74x (rounded from 1.736, about 74%) increase as the damage is multiplicitive, instead of the 1.5x (50%) you'd imagine it would be as it's written. (Edit to include that the Pinpointer's numbers I have are referencing Wiggle Plays and their testing using only Heavy Gunner damage perks and no additional damage increases or resistance ignores; a 57 damage leg shot increased to 99, about 13 or 14 points higher than you'd expect to see if the Pinpointer effect was only additive) If Pounders is written to increase damage 100% but acts multiplicitively on all relevant damage increases and resistances ignored, you'll see a much larger increase that sounds pretty much in line with the highest number Turtle sees during the first damage showcase in this video. His first hit is roughly around 600 (hard to make out the exact number), and caps below 1800. That's an effective 3x of your output, not 10x. Am I just math illiterate and missing something here? Because this honestly looks to be exactly what I expected the weapon would do based on everything I've seen pre- and post-Gleaming update

@maxw5691 I'd say it's certainly one of the most consistent legendary mods - it seems to work on just about anything that isn't a Torso (and the Thrusters on Gutsy enemies, as well as the shield on the first raid boss), so if you're up against anything with clearly-not-a-torso pieces, it's likely a solid option

@ so I tried with a vamp autoaxe and AA autoaxe and found success. It here 4 panels on the shield (under the red lights) that open when hit. In there you’ll find a circuit board to shoot. It displays a message that says “malfunction”. Not sure if the turret is vulnerable after these all go down, but i eventually ricocheted the shield down and was able to jump up at hit the Turret with melee. My damage was low so I had to go inside the doors twice but it was doable completely melee.

So i just tried gleaming depths.... Granted i went solo but the very first boss was killing me in 4 or 5 shots and my quad explosive RR did absolutely nothing at all whatsoever. It's not broken. Try it on something else besides cheesing the robot. It takes way more damage when the shields are down, lazy commando with a railway can hit the 1st boss for 2800 using crit bonus, i was even hitting the snake for 3800 with a quad railway at the end of the fight. Go as you are and solo the robots down in skyline valley, or the titan. With entirely full melee build, party boy with whiskey and so on ~52 STR... not even using yao guai ribs/tasty mutant stew (just glowing meat or mutant chops) etc etc its going to pop up to about 1000 damage. Titan 1100. Then try it on an axe with poison and viper. Epsilon Squad goes down almost as fast with poison as it does with electric +pounder in, and im only using Thorn or Marine armor. All this is going to do is make them nerf the weapon into uselessness because people want to speed farm one boss.

@@Salvation4U not yet patched on PC, not sure about console. gave it several runs just now. blast doors bug out and wouldnt open. easy fix is to hop out of PA before fade to black and hop right in a second or two after the fade animation starts. doing this grants i-frames so the unopened blast door bug wouldnt get ya. JP right up to the ring after, down the shield and finish off the other half hp. 600~630 damage per tick seems to be the minimum damage a person needs to kill the robot if you don't intend on using the blast doors. Easily achievable for someone without the 4th star effect yet. VBashGhost mini and AAPadStr Auto Axe were used. Might try out an ExecPadStr Auto Axe later to see if it'll outperform AA during

I also kept failing until I made a few small changes. First, you must be as close as you can get to the robot. Second, spam a Stimpak anytime your health drops below 50% and whenever you are staggered. I went from a 95% failure rate to a 95% success rate. Finally, don’t forget to lower the fire rate on your mini gun by the use of the gun’s internal mods. Good luck!
