I played this game A LOT a couple years ago.. I had all kinds of rare plans and put my fair share of real money into the game. Unfortunately that was all on Xbox, and have since moved over to pc. look up d2jsp its a trading site for games. you can ether trade item for item or trade items for "fourm gold" and then spend the gold on other items or you can buy the gold. but if you have a ton of great gear and items worth gold people will buy it then you can use that gold to buy itens for your OC character. ppl use it for a few games i did for diablo 2 and i remember seeing fallout 76 posts

Another great video, you can see how much you're learning as you progress, I have a couple of other tips for you... Maxed out legendary perk cards give you a ÷5 boost (one for each star, then a bonus for.maxing it) and its worth getting the intelligence maxed out. You're spot on though, the other cards depend on your build and style of play. I personally run S.P.E.I.A.L all maxed out, so I can run more normal cards Doing the above will allow you to bin Strong Back and get specific carry cards like Travelling Pharmacy, Thru Hiker bandolier etc, which give far better benefits. But for beginners, yeah, Strong Back is good for straight up carry weight. Try looking at doing your scout badges for additional carry weight for your backpack too Also, your advice for Ammosmith also applies to the Hard Bargain card you had equipped 👍

There’s a nice perk where you hit an enemy with a weapon and it has a chance to be partially repaired and when doing wave events you can completely repair some weapons that have higher fire rates

for starting players also, strength is for melee damage but more importantly it also increases your carry weight which is important because you CAN NOT fast travel if you are over your carry weight allowance, the game calls it "overencumbered". So I recommend max Intelligence and max Strength so you level fastest, and can carry the most. Also do the Tadpole then Possum missions as soon as possible so you can get the badges and buy a tadpole backpack which gives 60 more carry and then the tadpole high capacity mod for the backpack that doubles your backpack carry weight so now you can carry and additonal 120. Also you can put "deep pocketed" mods on all 4 limb armors and the chest armor for 10 plus carry on each totallying 50 extra carry weight. Each point in strength adds 5 carry weight and some perk cards can reduce items weight so you may want to use the cards that go with your play style like reduce rifles weight if you use rifles.

flux are pretty easy to get, just involves farm nuked zones and you can nuke them. You can learn mods by just scrapping the same item. For example once you learn to craft ultracite gatling just make 10 of them and scrap them (you can equip the scrap perk for more materiales when scraping). Mods that you get with bullion gold doesnt work if i remember correctly. For inventory I kept the starter leather armor with pockets till Service Secret Armor with pockets and a tip for materials are not getting larger stacks, just keep 150 to 200 of each unused material in you bank. And you can use another character to save your unused weapons you need help from a friend in order to get your weapons from the other character, less weight perks doesnt work in banks but you'll see numbers getting down till you put them so it's better to carry the items affected by less weight. Adenaline perk is good but if you do maths, you'll see 1* is enough because you spent more stats for less damage added and for Enforcer it's the same case 1* is enough. There's several damage perks and defensive/survival perks so you'll need stats. And don't scrap animated perks these comes with the 5 cards bundles. And its good to have new tubers, gl n hf.

for low level players also, if you hit an enemy once you get the XP from when it dies and the loot from it, so if you are surrounded by high level players, try to shot each enemy at least once so you get all the xp and loot when the other players kill all the enemies.

The issue is that NOTHING else in the game constitutes an xp farm better than Westek. If you're a noob exploring the game - do the story, do the side quests. Running Westek is for people 100+ looking for more packs, etc

Nice vid, disagree with some of the perk cards being good choices, although you did offer much helpful advice. One way to help out with carry weight is to do the possum badges to get the plans that double your backpack carry weight up to 120 I believe, thus you don't need the backpack perk card space. I think the best single mutation to help with int/exp is egghead...you can purchase the serum for it from an NPC. Also for exp farming, once you can solo or as a team I think doing the expeditions give you the most exp, plus you earn stamps for other goodies:) For legendary getting master infiltrator IMHO is the first card you should get, then get fallow through next IF you like being a sniper(Fixer). At level one it allows you to open locks, computers and free's up alot of perk card space. From what I can tell all builds boil down to two basic ideas. A non powerarmor build with your favorite "light" weapon and a powerarmor build with your favorite heavy weapon. When deciding what perk cards to get, first just decide what heavy and what non heavy weapon you want to use and first get the cards that help them out. Remember I think you only have to be level 25 to start using the station that allows you to have a couple presaved builds, very helpful. Then get other cards that help do more damage in general, then power armor cards, then the rounding out your character cards like to help with crafting, mutations, ones you will change out:) I am around level 200 and that is what I have come to realize so far:):) Yes I am also pretty new to this fallout, even though I have been playing the series starting with fallout 1 in the late 90's:)

The new player experience is better than the old player experience. I did all the original game content when the game came out, then hopped off. I had the misfortune of going for an explosives build, and it bit me on the ass because they nerfed it to oblivion 😢 So mid leveling in the base game, before you could swap special at will, I was spending all my levels reconstituting my special points, and so even tho I’m nearly 200, I only own about half the perk cards. Blows new players away when I tell them how bad the leveling system used to be 😂

I was wondering why I see so many players running with full rads 😅 but will definitely look for those cards now and when I get a higher level I have it. I think I've just hit 30 which is super low but the best thing about this is that you can team up but not have to be a team. I can go at my own pace and play at my own pace and do what I want when I chose to do it. Stuck on a quest change it do something else and go back quest getting stale scrap junk and sort your base. I definitely am guilty of slapping floor and walls down and running out of stuff and being left with a mess I call camp hahaha

I wouldn’t worry about low health builds till you’re 50+. Even then you’d want a full set of unyielding (+3 special low health) armor or if you do power armor, the emergency protocol mod for your chest piece power armor of choice.

One thing I want to mention about mutations is that that people will oftentimes sell them for VERY CHEAP. A great starter one is Speed Demon, which people sell typically for 50 caps.

Adding 40lbs of capacity does nothing when your chems/ammo/food/weapons/armor all weigh the same. Take the weight reduction perks: Bandolier , Batteries Included, Bear Arms, Pack Rat (for scavers), Thru-hiker, Traveling Pharmacy, etc etc. Reducing the weight of your items will save you more space than the extra 40 will give you. Ultimately stacking Strong Back WITH weight reducers would be optimal but doesn't quite pan out for certain builds. Bandolier should be on just about EVERY build because ammo weight adds up FAST. I run a specific card set for General Purpose and Scaving, and the weight reduction does more than the extra 40lb capacity ever could. Weightless rolls also help a ton. Also for non-PA users, pocket mod for armor if you want more space. across 5 pieces you end up with more than the perk can give you, or go for the Ultra-Light Mod to save a few pounds per piece. For you specifically, Scattershot stacked with a weightless roll - making your weapon literally weightless and reload up to 30%faster = big win. Add in Bandolier- even more saving. ((i.e. - a stack of shotgun shells weighing 5lbs, reduced by 90% now weighs .5 lbs. You just saved more that 10% of the capacity gain from Strong Back. Do that with everything and boom you are running LIGHT)) Just some food for thought. ((Have been on and off playing since Beta))

INT also makes crafted items have more durability. Even when crafting legendaries. Use every INT chem and good and drink and all unyeilding and int gear possible. It makes a huge diff. *dropped items Luck effects durability. Why a different stat for drops? Who knows... It just works.

I recommend making a crafting selling build where you're automatically overweight. That way you can go to the train stations and sell your stuff and not be able to fast travel out until you fix it. I can't tell you how many times I've gone into battle in my crafting build and wondering why the heck I'm getting curb stomped. Plus you have all your crafting and selling cards in one place and you're not spending a lot of time switching them out.

tip for allocating perk cards that you need situationally: you get a free second build in the card slot machines, use this second build to put on your barter perks and crafting and such!

I only have helmets, light armor and outfits as tabs to click when I go into the armor workbench

You have to unlock the mods through doing events or buying from other players. It takes a while but it's worth it

Brian Bombs + Cranberry Relish + Sleep + Mothman Tome + High Intelligence stat + Intelligence Legenday Perk Card Max Out + Good high level team. You'll level up very quickly.

Good vid. Two things. 1) the rad scrubbers can get rid of Mutations even with the perk card on. 2) no matter what build I've done I've found that the master infiltrator legendary perk has been stupid useful. Saves regular perk cards slots and once leveled, auto unlocking all locks and computers is awesome.

Fyi a guaranteed way to get mutations is dyeing to radiation and you can only get one mutation per session. So find somewhere with high rads that will kill you quickly then server hop after each death. glhf

If you go to the dark part of the map and kill the mole miners they drop a bunch of shotguns, get one of those and start rolling legendary perks on it. My next guide will show you guys more about that

I don’t think I got the perk cards at the start can I go back and get them ?

So question I got my Perception to 15 but I need the skill cards that are in that stat can do I have to just rely on perk packs? Idk so I been going to the punch card special thing to relocate a point down in that stat to then lvl up to pick a card from that stat or should I just wait for perk packs for what I need? I’m just confused on if I fucked myself cause I picked a few useless perk cards not knowing what I was doing at first

You get to choose a perk card every level after 50. You get a perk pack every five levels after 50. You're good, just keep leveling.
