Take out the legs and arms. Then 1 in the head. Unless there robots. Just take out there arms and move on to your next target. They will blow up soon.

I usually cripple the legs, then go for the head. Robots go for the guns, unless it's an assultron, then you have to blow all the limbs off and cripple the head for the big bamg

Legendary enemies do not exist in fallout76 in my game, unless I am doing a public or daily event. I usually play solo and explore the map, I never see legendary enemies anymore.

I'm seeing less certainly. What level are you now? I was thinking maybe it was due to my level being much higher now

Level might play a part. I am level 173 at the moment. I would always run into legendary enemies in the open world before. Something has definitely changed.
