Lol... yeah it was pretty rough (though I got a decent discount for it so I was happy... I find it all depends on what you value and how fussy you are about certain things, all collectors have different things they find less acceptable then others).

+¨Charlie¨ Really it was the way they designed the CE box... it was literally designed to fail if any force was put to it (it should not be a thin plastic with no support). Complete box design fail on Bethesda. Though noticing how fragile the CE was they should have added more and better packing... but I feel they are not at fault as much as the very poor CE box design.

Thanks! Yeah I woudl go with that cheaper one for sure. Also $82 sounds wrong... they were only $50 retail if I am remembering correctly (if you are seeing $80 then it is another seller I bet... EDIT: yup just looked and that is what is going on, someone is trying to sell them for more sadly, Amazon should get more in stock hopefully).

I know this is kind of a dead thread, but the nuke isn't made by Bethesda anymore. They discontinued it and it will go up in price soon. 120 now, but I was able to snipe it on eBay for 70

Lol... yeah you're right it was a unlucky one for sure. I wanted it only to display so the internal piece was no biggie (and I glued it back on easily enough after)... and I do not really care about boxes (though I think I did contact them about the damaged packaging and the broken piece and they gave me like 30% back so it was actually a big win IMO ;) ). Sloppy unboxing. Lol. It's cool. I just started playing fallout and I really don't play games. But IF I do, I tends to play the series if any. I bought fallout 3 game of the year and I'm clueless, so I decided to play the first one which I didn't know where to find. Just yesterday my coworker told me about this mini nuke! Now I kinda want it lol. I have a regular ASUS laptop, which has AMD graphics I believe. Windows 10. Should I buy this? And what does the registration code do?

Sloppy? How so? I guess I do drone on a bit in this one and a few things went wrong with the packaging which threw me off even more. You say "regular ASUS laptop" but that does not mean much unless you say what era it is from or better the exact name of your graphics card. I would say though that if your laptop is not super old then it can play Fallout 3 and NV (these are the newer more demanding of the titles) without much issue on the lower settings (you will have to play around with the graphics settings to get it the way you like it.. or they usually have pre-sets like low, med, high). As far as the code is concerned I do not know exactly as I bought this for the collectable and not for the games (plus my gaming laptop does not have a CD drive either)... but I would guess it is just a product registration code to be able to play the games (a proof of purchase type thing).
