As 2022 comes to an end and everyone is getting very excited to enter into the holiday season and new year, just remember that 2023 will be the year to remember! I have a love-hate-relationship with this song: It's really well done and perfectly captures the style of that age but the character the singer portrays is, if you'll pardon my French, an insufferably whiny and self-absorbed bitch who puts all the blame on his former partner instead of undergoing some desperately needed self-reflection. This is perfectly shown by two quotes: 2:46 "The bomb you dropped wiped away our happy home." Really? Why did she leave if the home was happy? Sure, it was probably HIS happy home and who cares what others feel... 3:30 "What did I do to you to make you hurt me so? You say I never loved you, my heart was ??? (I can't make that one out), i buried you future, your care and your grace. Well, I don't know if that was true. But when you left you killed me, too!" Holy sheet! So much for the happy home. He basically says: "Who cares how you felt, what matters are my feelings!" What a wanker. I'm pretty sure that the artist(s) knew very well what they were writing and that's why I find this song brilliant and funny in a cringey way. It's a carricature of that period, a song made to hate and it does that perfectly. Chapeau!

@@LLPTV Hard agree. I love The Mend radio station in FOLON, but every time this song comes up I have to switch to another station (@sajhino method doesn't work btw; it's only for VERY early versions of FO4 and is patched away years ago). It really doesn't help that this is, BY FAR, the LONGEST song on the station. If there's any song that "outstayed its welcome" it's this one. If there's anyone who wants to use modding magic to get rid of this song, just put an empty audio file in \Data\Sound\fx\DLCLondon\Radio\FOL_MUS0RadioOlNuclearWinter.xvm and FOL_0MUSRadioOlNuclearWinter.xvm. Not sure why there are two duplicated files, but better safe than sorry.
