As karmic retribution it works; but mechanically getting one shotted isn't a hugely strong case for seeking out a 15% damage reduction: one shotted usually means that you suffered substantial overkill and need a new plan or some extra levels. 15% damage reduction can make a real difference over time, for common enemy types, in how much of a drain scratch damage is on your supply of healing items; but is only a lifesaver in any single encounter if you were already right on the knife edge.

The extra slot on the Service revolver is for bullet types (like changing the ammo type for the shotgun/flaregun) - wadcutters are bullets with a flat face, I think manstoppers are hollowpoints, and explosive... well, I'm pretty sure no one fired explosive rounds out of a historical Webley, but fuck it, that's cool

I find this Series especially interesting because Jon is from and knows London (unless i misunderstood, despite watching him since 2014). I've been to London many Times, as a German on top of that haha, and i love London, always staying at the Marriot Hotel at Grosvenor Square. What i especially love about London are those little Breweries and Stores that are right under the Arches of the Railtracks, surrounded by Bricks. And many of those old Railtracks were built on top of old Victorian Viaducts. Definitely recommend visiting all of those for People ever going to London! Either way, watching someone from London or around London and being English is especially interesting, really enjoy Jon talking about and pointing out Stuff about the City etc. Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps

Just a heads up, London Bridge is actually a settlement area but in order to take control of it you need a Local Leader perk. Once you have it you'll be able to do a quest for beefy after which you'll gain access to the workbench.

4:26 The bottom slot on the service revolver is the ammo type. Standard is just normal rounds, wadcutter is similar to the .44 SWC rounds in New Vegas. Manstopper is actually a bit more interesting (and morbid). I can only assume it's a reference to Albert Dryden. You can look the story up if you want to but basically, he had a Webley revolver (what the service revolver is based off) that he made his own ammunition for. He called them Manstoppers. He would later murder, on live TV, a bloke called Harry Collinson with those same rounds.

25 Poison resistance just makes barely any difference. For comparison, one dose of Med-X gives 250 poison resistance. You just don't encounter enough dangerous poisonous enemies to make it worth taking up a whole gear slot. On the rare occasions you do meet a dangerous poisonous enemy, a single Med-X gives 10x the benefit.

Like 20 resistance to damage isn't twice as good as 10. it's like 150% as good. And 40 resistance isn't 4 times as good as 10, but more like 225% with diminishing returns. At least it always feels like that in Fallout 4. With a point where after like 80 resistance each point basically is meaningless.

Originally it was believe to be caused by synchronicity caused by people walking but later scientific paper debunked that theory. It is now believed to be an oscillations issue caused by people trying not to fall, that movement then caused oscillations to be exabated, either way fix was dampener both vertically and horizontally.

Unfortunately I think it's carry over from the main FO4 game, where everything that isn't just a pipe rifle, is usually powerful enough to kill most things, but Jon still hasn't learnt that most Folon weapons are just trash, I mean the guy is still carrying around crude weapons, which are basically pipe guns.

I've found that companions will pick up, and use, legendary weapons, but not legendary armour, so it was probably a legendary weapon that Archie can actually use.

Same as everywhere else, except instead of getting bigger like the molerats, scorpions etc. in North America...the critters got smaller. Emus that attack your ankles. Spiders that can hardly be seen with the naked eye. Tiny roos that somehow still hit as hard as the full-size ones but go for the groin.

My headcanon is just going to be that the ability to mount a scope is unlocked with a fairly low level of gun nut; but the ability to mount the scope correctly has a perk requirement at least one level higher.
