With the hostility in the bar scene, I was thinking there should be an option to buy a round for the house. That would be a good way to increase your rep with the locals. Also, it should also include a random roll that someone might jump you outside the bar because you obviously have money.

I am not sure if the mod authors have a different part where if Skinny Malone is alive if it would change what is said and what happens. I know on my play through I passed all the checks and left him alive. I never went back after Valentine was released.

If you left Skinny Malone alive, then he is the one threatening the entrance to the Sluice.

@6:28 This is surprising and new fan-lore. I wonder if it will have importance later: is it a chekov's gun or a red herring? Or is the ghoul lying - perhaps even to herself? The canon lore only speaks of people turning into ghouls and then going feral - never the reverse, as she claims happened - as she may wish happened, given her state. Ghoul feralness is one of the great fridge-horrors of the setting: It is canon that every intelligent ghoul you meet will (should they live long enough) eventually go feral: maybe in a few centuries, maybe tomorrow. You never know when this irreversible mental illness will start or how fast it will progress. In the canon we have examples of this taking anywhere from 2-3 weeks to only hours. This future is something that every intelligent ghoul has to either deliberately ignore or constantly grapple with. @20:07 I wonder why the mod keeps pushing the use of the Railroad call sign? So far it has offered it for 3 people in the Sluice (all without success). If you are a RR agent does the mod spawn in an extra (RR) NPC to assist you? Or is this another red herring? Also, isn't this your character that leads the Institute (and therefore destroyed the RR)? That makes offering the call sign option a little... awkward. If they really are a RR agent, would they really answer correctly, given they probably should know who you are?

Kottabos explains it at 8:50. It's a figure of speech. She's saying people turned on each other in the aftermath of the war. It's not a literal lore change that people turned into feral ghouls before they turned into ghouls.

@@OscarN1N7 That was his interpretation of it, but I'm not sure that was accurate to what the mod author intended. However it is possible that she was being facetious, making a play on speech using her ghoul nature as a foil.
