Zach, Mike. When I started watching this series I was in highschool, I remember putting it on with friends I no longer have and getting so high we’d pass out. Since then I’ve had a relationship that has left me more hurt then loved, lost those who’ve I’ve held dear, and began a prospective career teaching small arms repair to the U.S Military Industrial Complex (Thank you Zach). The two of you have been something that I have grown to respect and love more than I can put into words, and I thank you for that. So as someone who has lived in Bullhead City here is some facts. The City is also a tri state city its on the border of California and Nevada. Which you can get to Las Vegas an back in one day, its also around 2 to 4 hours to Presscott. Bullheads weather has 125 Degrees of heat in the summer with heavy wind that feels like a Oven. It also gets monsoons that rain, with house shaking an roof tearing winds happen. There is a joke in town that you can cook eggs on the side walk are street. The pipes arent great in summer the water is boiling hot even on cold water an has to cool down. We get drain bugs that crawl out of the sinks drain pipes. The City has nothing to do in it besides gamble an drink, there is no stuff for youths to do the closet is I think there is a park. But swimming in the summer is nice we got a River an Lake an are close to the Dam. An lastly coming an going from Bullhead is F Finger Rock, when your coming in it looks like a thumbs up, but leaving its giving you the middle finger.

someguy doesn't really like ulysees. and as for marko yeah he even admits the NVB3 was a major let down. due to him getting burned up in making mods, and is actually fine if some modders improves/fixes his mod series. what's unfortunate a mod maker named Roybatterian the author of Tales of Two Wastelands and some NV patches has been known to bully any modders who tries to make someguy's mods series better. and says things like "your fix is messing with the lore" and something along the lines. and mods like NVB3 - Marko Rewritten pisses him off. which ditches marko's whiny ass and makes him into the villain that he was hyped up from the previous mods. the mod also ditches the whole marko ambushing the player.

As for the Ulysses thing, I can tell he doesn’t like the character, which I can fully understand though I love Ulysses personally. Josey’s story just felt incredibly juvenile, honestly: “He pulled out a FLAGPOLE and everybody started laughing at him!” Felt completely unnecessary and just petty like: “Hey guys, you remember how much I hate Ulysses, right? Look! Here’s a random story humiliating him for no reason other than I hate him!” Other than that, I love this dude’s mods. They’re incredibly well done and absolutely hysterical at times.

@@jtheconqueror121 yeah a lot of FONV players dont really like ulysses, including myself due to him trying to pin a blame on the courier that they had no control over and constantly berating what the courier does. what's unfortunate is that most modders tries too hard to make some of their villains or characters too much like ulysses and end's up just as bad as the original if not worst. im looking at you Frontier where they use "Killing is Bad you should Feel Bad" is borderline stupid. fortunately you can convince him to stop being an idiot and to actually see reason that the whole divide incident was just the universe's way of screwing up. which i prefer to do i hate ulyssees but i am not about to go full murder-hobo on him for a misunderstanding. marko on the otherhand as well as the syndicate deserves to get that treatment Marko's speech about the courier killing bad people just makes the courier just as bad the people they killed is just plain retarded. when the whole point of NVB series is to put down Dangerous "Evil" people criminals so that they cant harm any innocent people. especially if those people were the result of Marko's own hands in the first place Marko berating the player for it just makes him a hypocrite and a moron. and if you kill his slaver of a wife esther he throws a temper tantrum like a child. the NVB3 marko rewrite fixes all of that infact it makes it so that marko lives up to his name and makes him your equal he doesn't berate you like in the original but infact will react on how you handled the other NVB stories he'll either commend your condemn you for your actions. and makes the actual final fight more satisfying as it is more like your fighting a Darker version of the courier rather than some whiny ass man child who keeps saying "Killing is Bad" and if i remember the re-write also makes marko acknowledges esther's slave trade properly and if you kill her the courier isn't getting labeled as a child murderer but rather thanks the player for putting that bitch down. as for the little bit of comic relief it is well done, and not out of place and is actually in character of the said characters. despite being too crass and it isn't as cringe inducing as the frontier new california does. anyway sorry about that long rant, i kinda loose myself on this kind of things.

The funny thing is, even for someone who really likes Ulysses, I'd be okay with all the ribbing at him if it wasn't for how Marko turned out. I can admit that there are parts of Ulysses as a character that can easily be grating, but at least Ulysses never sounds like he's *trying* to sound like that. Marko constantly sounds like someone watched Death Note and thought they were an intellectual. To a lesser extent, I also think making fun of Ulysses would've been fine if they ever acknowledge how much shit Ulysses has done. Love him or hate him, Ulysses is probably the second most well-traveled person in Vegas' story beside the actual GOAT Joshua Graham. Man may have been fighting with a flagpole, but he knew how to kill people with it which is more than I can say.

In my run everyone but Josey died. He's the only essential NPC, and without Watson he goes on to be a famous porn star in New Reno. I was max level and I would have said reasonably well geared. It probably did not help that the battle dragged on into the night, and the nevada skies mod I had on made the nights outside dark as hell, so when the centurions made it across the river they killed a lot with their super sledges before I could unload into them.

You can, after the events of NVB 3 he spawns in the NCR building at the far end of New Vegas, across the street from the vault. He is in the mess hall and you can just cap him. Tho the whole NCR MP will turn aggro with you but I found fast traveling once you space yourself enough resets aggro and it doesn’t lower your faction relation with the NCR

Interesting facts: If Hodges lived he would have written a book about the battle which would have caused it to not be as overshadowed. I actually love the better angels and NVBIII cause I always play a courier with a strong sense of Justice. Getting torn down in Utah and feeling hollow revenge for killing Marko only to then go a save hundreds of slaves, cheer up a child and take him home to his family, give an old man one last drink, and deliver a baby then you and your companions all hold off and destroy the entirety of the legion’s southern army is a great character arc

I know the final battle in this is a slog, it took Alchestbreach 2 tries with a Giant Robot mod, but I think the Explosive ammo with the Anti-material was way over powered for this. Speaking of, did you install a mod increasing the Explosive ammo's power, it seemed to be doing more damage than the standard frag grenade, whiping out whole squads in 1 shot. Plus I would've liked to seen Zach use a plurality of different weapons in this, not just 2 greande launchers
