Fallow Deer Hunting - Chasing Local Bucks in the 2020 Lock-down Rut

It's a yearly passion for me to go fallow buck hunting in the deer rut. For 2020 it's been limited to area's very close to home with the Covid-19 restrictions. What follows is a few afternoons and mornings chasing the bucks around.

Awesome video, you're so lucky to be able to do that! Fortunately in Victoria they have allowed us to help farmers control pests so I did manage to get out last night on a dairy farm and take out a couple of foxes with the night vision 🦊💥. Please keep the videos coming, it's an essential service 😁👍👍

Wow, that's a beautiful video. ❤ Scenery.... 😃 You have strange looking deer compared to western USA types. We have whitetail, elk, mule deer (and they mix occasionally), moose, antelope and mt goats. We also have lots of mountain lion, lynx, bobcat, they're reintroducing the wolf and the black bear are starting to come back. Further west they have grizzlies. 😳 Nice facial hair and camo! Excellent shot! 🎈🥳🎈

Hey mate rippa vids, keep them coming. If your not too keen on the meat during rut cause of the obvious smell an sometimes taste that they can have. Milk is a massive game changer, if you let the meat soak in milk it actually gets rid off the smell an rut taste and helps tenderise the meat and lets the muscles loosen up after a kill too.
@EDGEoftheOUTBACK

Thanks for the positive feedback. I'll have to try that again. Unfortunately I remember doing just that years ago, but the milk turned. My fault for not seeing how old it was when I put it on my prized venison.

The 165grn speer SP how do they preform on the pigs? Have you taken sambar with them? Just about to get another 308 as l had to sell my last one. Looking at a reasonable load for it.
