Buddy Goodrich is obviously a man who grew up in a world where no one (especially his parents) told him “no”. Carl is one of those people who tells him he can’t have what he wants, but Goodrich hasn’t received an answer like that for most his life and has difficulty accepting the reality when things don’t go his way

Carl Winslow showed tremendous restraint in not taking a swing @ Buddy Goodrich, & after Carl was shoved not once...but twice. Carl was right in arresting Mr. Goodrich for "attempted" assault. What's shocking, is Carl's own family didn't believe he was telling the truth from the beginning, & falling for Buddy "The Snake Oil Salesman" Goodrich & his "sales pitch". Bravo, Carl Winslow - you're a good cop!

This episode is a perfect example of today’s world. Buddy Goodrich represents the majority of today’s generations that grew up never being told “no” and handed everything they wanted. Especially with all these social media “influencers” they grow up and act as if the world owes them. The world doesn’t owe you ANYTHING!!! And the fact that so many people think that way really concerns me. I don’t care who you are, no one is above the law! Don’t just take my word for it, take it from Carl Winslow!

All Buddy Goodrich had to do was move his car, sign an autograph and Carl would've left. That way, Buddy would've saved face. Everything would've been fine. But no. Buddy had to do it the hard way. All I can say is: Celebrities. Go figure.

Buddy Goodrich should be lucky that he was dealing with Carl and not Hank Voight from Chicago PD--it would NOT have ended well for Goodrich, methinks (and I think Voight would give him less chances than Carl Winslow does here)...

Carl was right for arresting Buddy . You don’t assault a police officer and Carl didn’t attack him he was defending himself

Carl was in the right. All Buddy had to do was move his car. Buddy was a conceited bad tempered twit! I felt sorry for Roger, his assistant. Goodrich probably treated him like a dog the whole time he worked for him! Then Goodrich tried to manipulate Roger to commit perjury on the witness stand. My favorite was when Harriette revealed that Roger broke down on the witness stand and told the truth. Then Buddy Goodrich fired him on the spot!

I would've said fine, do it your way then just leave a ticket on the door as soon as he went back inside and then towed the car. Carl did warn him, although I can't believe that Carl's family were so quick to jump to the jackasses defense without listening to his side of the story

I know. I bet had Urkel been there, he would've been quick to defend Carl's action by pointing out that Buddy broke the law by assaulting him and not heeding a simple request to move his car out of the handicapped space.
