This choreography is so ridiculously fluid and emotional that I'm BEGGING you to refilm to really capture just how much your skill (in both dance and choreo) has progressed EDIT: This isn't to offend the cinematographer of this video. No, you're right, I could never film with a huge camera. Yes, it takes a lot of work to film. This angle captures emotion, but a wider, stable angle would capture more footwork.

There's a recording on yt from an angle more far away and it's a bad video quality, but the dance looks amazing when captured like that. You realize that if he zooms out you don't see the facial expressions up close as easily, and their emotions are literally what made this choreography so much better and "guide the story" as many of you are saying here. I thought the cameraman was pretty god on filming the "emotional story", but if you wanna see their feet movement, go look at other videos or practice their specific choreography in their rehearsals.

I love how whenever I read the comments of a Kaycee and Sean duet, there’s never people comparing them and saying which on danced it better. That’s because when Sean and Kaycee dance, they dance as one. Nobody is even thinking about which one did it better because they dance to compliment each other and make each other look good as much as themselves. Also I’m so in love with this combo 😍

Anyone notice how at 0:57-1:02 when it says "surrender yourself," Kaycee's character has her hands behind her like she's being handcuffed/chained to her life, while Sean's character is embracing the world with his arms above his head? And that's the world of difference it is between that mindset of having confidence versus being so critical and having no hope. Such meaningful choreography!

I say it over and over again. Sean Lew is a literal genius. He is other worldly and he is insanely young. You should not be able to have that much knowledge and soul at that age. His choreography is simply stunning and on another level. He is genius in that he can only compete with people decades older than him to put him against others his age is unfair to them. And then there is the element of these two together that can only be defined as magic. Sometimes it’s hard to believe they are two separate people because they just sort of blend into one person when they dance, it looks effortless (I know they practice insane amounts to get it that way) but even people who practice for weeks or months could not get these moves down. It’s like they just know how the other works. The beauty in their performances always brings me to tears

I love that he reused pattycake as a reoccurring move and theme of the piece. They play pattycake together at first, like they're friends, except kaycee is emotionless. He tries to reignite their friendship by trying to play patty cake with her again, but she refuses and turns away from him. She tries to push him out of her life. Later she realizes she misses him and tries to restart their friendship by playing pattycake with him, but she cant. He's turned away from her so she can only play pattycake on his back. he left her and he almost forgot her. But he comes back at the very end and helps her break out of her emotionless cage. The ACTING MAN. that's what makes this piece so good.

This is true to some degree but actually Sean represents her "confidence" if you know what I mean all according to the title of the song. So we can interpret it as the girl losing her confidence, a part of herself in life and her and the "confidence" dancing around trying to find each other again until one day.

They're better than 95% of dancers I've seen. It's unreal for their age. Crazy talented! Both of them
