Hi. Thanks upload video. Can this skill do at gi?
@EnergiaMartialArts Жыл бұрын
Not sure. The main goal of entering cross ashi/411 and heel hooking is not allowed in most gi formats. So to be honest it all depends on the exact ruleset and my best advice for gi would be to focus more on single leg x and x guard for leglocks.
@TheMsk2242 Жыл бұрын
@@EnergiaMartialArts Thank you for your response! My gym don't practice no gi, which makes it very difficult to practice heel hook. So I only practicing 411 position entries. Like reverse X guard to 411 position entires. When my left knee goes into my opponent's right hamstring, I think it's okay because I'm not compressing his knee, but what do you think? I'm having trouble finding the rules.
@EnergiaMartialArts Жыл бұрын
@@TheMsk2242 yeah 411 is safe as long as you don't attack the primary leg 👌🏼

Osú! I'll note that for the future. Acctualy I'm working on editting a no-gi roling backtake video now as we speak! Will release that next week I think and maybe in the future some seated berimbolos.

@EnergiaMartialArts the controversial hook Gianni grippo did
@EnergiaMartialArts Жыл бұрын
@@johnkim3658 Aah yes that match! That was a double outside configuration if I'm not mistaken. So in the false reap that's not an issue. The only thing you have to be aware of more so is the posting of your secondary foot on his hip (for the counter estima lock and corckscrew toe hold). I do think I adres that in this video and otherwise I 100% have a short reel on exactly that counter! Position wise the risk is when top takes small backsteps to make it hard for me to invert underneath. I hope that answers your question.
