Par cor maze. If you jump the wrong way you get stuck with no way back. You could also put misleading quotes on the walls. He will stop to read them all.

I feel like the civil war is exactly what was missing! Not a war in itself, but team efforts, working together towards the same goals, interacting, being strategic and so forth. The result is obvious. The first war videos showed hermits giggling, laughing, being excited and just enjoying the good times together! And Falsie is like a cornerstone that the whole team can rely on. FUNtastic :)

If you do nothing else with the ‘Pantheon’ bricks, I feel like you should rebuild it /inside/ the maze. Also maybe armour stnds/zombies with Cow heads perhaps as ‘Minotaurs’ somewhere inside the Labyrinth. I think he’d like the reference as it applies to both Greek Mythology /and/ his build.

For your maze, add a minotaur by capturing a mob and dispensing a cow head on them. Armored zombies are the easiest option, but Vindicators pack more of a wallop.

You could use stickies and an SR latch there. Easiest is probably pushing a block of redstone into place to power it, then having a button somewhere that triggers a second piston to push it back.

Well, now we know who the more skilled Phantom catcher is. Your skills on not spoiling traps need some work, though. Those cobwebs would be great if they were complemented with splash and lingering potions. Wait, why am I giving tips to the team I'm against? Oh right, one of my three favorite Hermits are on this team. The suspense is killing me! PS: For the center pistons, put some solid blocks on top of the pistons and run the redstone on those blocks. In fact, you can just put solid blocks on top of all the pistons and run a single repeater into the blocks, powering all of the redstone on top of the blocks that are on top of the pistons.

Hey False, to add a sense of urgency to the web trap, place lava under most of it so Joe will have to travel horizontally extremely slowly to reach the safety of solid floor before the final drop out of the webs.

I would leave a bunch of tripwire hook, 90% of them would do nothing and a few would be actual traps, through which one would fall to a room filled with stuff, like water or slimes or burning netherrack. Also you could make a few switches which would change the layout of the maze by pushing pistons with stone blocks around.

Trap idea: Use puffer fish detectors to swap tunnels behind intruders. ie, after someone walks by a pufferfish, 2 pistons close off the way back and 2 more pistons open a way forward (swap) that are all out of sight from the puffer fish area. Can also have puffer fish detectors near the swap to delay the pistons until no one is near enough to see the swap happen. Just to clarify, the maze route will change (swap) as intruders push forward. Ask ImpulseSV about it.

I never thought of using a redstone torch on the back of a block to trigger a trap when the block is broken. Redstone experts would use an observer, but I think you should do more redstone because you clearly have the mind for it!

If you put blocks in top of the Pistons and then power those your trap won't need rebuilding each time as the Redstone won't pop off.

Use a pufferfish player detector to close up the entrance to the maze once they enter it. Bonus, you may also poison them. The setup is a Pufferfish in a waterlogged bottom slab. It triggers a tripwire layed over that block when it puffs up. Impulse & Doc have both used them this season, so they could help too.

In labyrinth there was the 2 doors riddle. One door leads to the castle the other leads to certain doom. You can ask one of the guards a question. One lies, one tells the truth. could do that and let Joe choose which door to take. Have a sign that says "Back in an hour, on lunch break. Signed The two guards" So Joe has a 50/50 chance. Or he could have a choice to ask you or another star member a question. Loved the video. Great work. You found a way to catch phantoms fast and easy as opposed to others who build elaborate phantom catching traps. Had quite the giggle at that.

As an idea for the maze, have a couple of the pressure plates move a couple blocks in the walkway so the path back out is blocked off. An ever changing maze will be impossible to get out of.

Make a really tempting button at the end which does something "nice" and also makes a huge area of the way out open up to lava. So when Joe tries to leave, his only option is to try to jump an impossibly long distance.

Maybe create some pressure plates that create or remove paths in the maze so it always changes. Edit: maybe put a vault there that's hidden in plain sight in the maze with a key to hide the STAR Team's most valuable items.

Use pistons activated by pressure plate or tripwire, to change the layout of the maze. Close some corridors, open others. Using normal (non-sticky) pistons will move the 'trap' blocks into place and not retract them once he steps off the pressure plate or tripwire.

Kill him at the end the same way Grian wanted to kill Impulse in his "hall of atonement". This will get him very, very mad since he went on a rant about the importance of education or something for two episodes when Grian tried to kill Impulse "in a schoolzone". If you put a dispenser with curse of binding leather armor named "Trousers of Truth" somewhere in the maze, it may give him a clue as to what's coming. He might het his xylophone out again.

I just came back from a few redstone experiments. Just place blocks on the CENTER column of pistons and redstone on top of those blocks. Then remove ALL of the repeaters attaching to the pistons from the sides. You only need one repeater going into that first block and that will power the entire trap. The trap will now be more responsive and won't produce as much lag.

Make the whole floor of the maze soul sand on top of ice to make it extra painful to traverse. I also suggest having one path with a reward so there's an actual reason to enter the maze.

Regarding the maze and the lava/no-lava option: How about put some sensors (pressure plates, pufferfish sensors, etc.) in the maze to attempt to verify that he follows the course you've laid out for him. If it looks like he bypassed portions of the maze (that is, if the sensors were triggered out of sequence or some of them were skipped) - then activate the lava!

You can change the maze while he is in it by pistoning up and down some stone to to make passages disappear. That will make it more confusing an take longer. Make sure to do it out of site cuz he will hear the pistons.

You could exploit the “follow the left wall” rule by making a path that goes in a spiral, up, and then when you get to the end it drops you down where you started. You could make it especially vexing if you have a helpful sign telling maze users to follow the left hand wall, while the right hand path, if followed, is nothing but dead ends, and the path out of this area is only revealed if you do hug the left hand wall though a spiral, fall down and trigger an observer as you do, and then if you follow the left hand path AGAIN the way out is revealed.

Ok, a way to give Joe a scare without killing him: Put lava with either yellow, or orange glass over top, he'll see it through the cobwebs and get the scare of his life, but when he falls through he lands safely on the glass.

Do a door trap where someone steps on a pressure plate and 4 iron doors close on them, and a block is above their head so they can't jump. You can also have someone fall through a hole into one of these.

redstone advice: use blocks with redstone dust on top above the downward firing pistons so the pistons are powered from above and since you're doing a suffocation trap you need to either make a T flip-flop, or short pulse them probably with an observer or use a clock that keeps the blocks down long enough to do the damage.

Symmetry, I inquire that you add some secret activation in the maze, at crossroads. A pufferfish activation works, But a tripwire is visible. If chosen to run through the intersection on the right path you would in theory just barely make it through without the floor falling out from under you. If you were too slow in choosing and hesitated, you would fall through. You add this method for changing routes, Extra traps, Search up hidden player sensors. Edit: add signs to attract attention of wanderers slowing them further down if they choose to read them.

Oh jeeze, a dark room full of silenced phantoms would be pure nightmare fuel for sure. Also pufferfish in the wall to activate a tripwire for like a lava pit or maybe dropping into the phantom room would be a nice trap. I’m more on G Team side but it would still be entertaining. You could also get Doc or someone to set up some redstone to make a piston bouncer to bounce them back to the start at certain dead ends. Gonna be honest though I’m kinda sad I didn’t get to see the Parthenon in a finished state, even though it was definitely a crazy, cheeky build, lol. You could bait him in with a book in an item frame saying where to go if he wants his Parthenon supplies back with a sign with his name on it above it.

Put a layer of glass with lava under it at the bottom of the slowfall trap so he thinks he's dropping into lava but isn't. He probably won't be able to see the glass through the cobwebs. Troll the troll. :3

You can place top slabs on the mid pistons and that will not break the redstone. Just a tip.. try to hide the holes for tripwire somehow. Good luck!
