Synopsis : Au coeur de Madagascar sur les terres de l'ethnie Betsileo, le petit village d'Amoronimania est en ébulition. La famille Sam prépare un nouveau famadihana, une cérémonie en l'honneur des défunts également appelée retournement des morts. Pendant trois jours, rites et danses vont se succéder au rythme des musiciens traditionnels, les mpihiragasy. Venez partager les coutumes d'un peuple, et laissez-vous guider par le fils aîné de la famille.

There is no smell because this ceremony take place years after the person died.The process of decomposition of the corpse is complete.There are laws that prohibit this practice if the dead is still decomposition state or the corpse is still wet as "wet" say.It's better to learn some basic of the culture of some people before writing some "comments"

This is really a disgusting ritual. These people should and must try to become part of the civilized world. We believe they are Christians and Christianity definitely does not approve this kind of nasty activities. They must not go inside the grave and they must not take out the remains of a deceased person. We didn't see the Christians of civilized world to do this kind of filthy ritual. They should try to become civilized. They must quit their uncivilized tradition. The people of undeveloped, underdeveloped and developing countries should follow the system of developed countries. They must become super quality people as the people of recognized civilized world.
