Where I used to live in SRQ Sarasota, the 4th of July fireworks were at the marina, it was lovely. They were many boats that had a personalized sign hanging On their boats a "do not disturb". No one was offended by this. 🤔

I absolutely agree with Elaina (sry sp) about people just popping up or approaching out of nowhere. Especially with the babies. I make it a point NOT to act like that with movie stars or influencers. I may recognize them but I don’t acknowledge them anymore than I would a stranger. A lot of influencers are having real problems because of this. I wish more influencers would speak openly about their experiences and how it negatively impacts them and their families 💞

This is SO far from dog-paddling through murky Adriatic water to shore because Riley’s bowline knot failed and the new tender went missing! Closing on 2-million subscribers, videographer, editor, published author, fashion designer, global sailors.(Edit: I forgot to mention two amazing parents to a couple of amazing boys!) What an amazing journey, all because Elayna picked up a neglected camera to show her Mom that everything was alright. Thank you so much for having us along for the ride from Turkish marketplaces, to the South Pacific, free diving blue holes, to dodging polar bears. Now, on to new adventures. (Edit: I think my favorite line was the two guys in Polynesia talking about their epic disastrous adventure with broken steering gear where one guy talks about what got him to go on the trip, “ Let’s go sailing, mate. It’ll be HEAPS of fun.”

You summed it all up "perfectly"! Yeah, I bet it's exhausting and a bit scary to be so popular now, (mostly because of their kid's). *After people become "Famous" and the wealth that follows, being "stalked/hunted down/watched" it's all fair game now. Wow, Ive been a follower for well over 6 years. This one really knocked my socks off. As Ive said in past episodes, I live in Annapolis for over 30 years of my 70 years. To see this video of you guys being there again, at this particular event, just really made me feel emotional. I could write a novel, but I know thats not needed here in my post. Im sure you guys never imagined it would come this this level of notoriety, but it has, and you guys are handling it very well. With respect to you and your kids and your very busy lifestyle, I will simply close this by saying keep following the same path that you guys are doing. You are doing fantastic. Remember to keep things into perspective. YOU GUYS AND YOUR KIDS COME FIRST AND FOREMOST. Never risk public and fan following, over that simple suggestion. My very best wishes to you guys and your family, and the prospect of an exciting, educational, future as La Vagabonde evolves.

How they met, how Elayna picked up an old camera and took a chance following someone she hardly knew into the unknown is legend. As they went through good times and bad, you could see stories unfold, the editing got better, they persevered and made a family. I hope they continue to make content for us who can not make the journeys into the world but watch in wonder and awe at what is out there.

I am so happy for your success! To bring more love to the world, not just to your family, but extended, is a rare accomplishment. After 46 years of photographing actors, as part of the Hollywood star-making machinery, I have seen how hundreds of famous people handle themselves. Without a doubt, you are doing an amazing job. Practical considerations aside, it is all about ego management. You both keep each other well-grounded. I know that movie-making is a real job unto itself, but you both carry it off with grace and consistent pro-level skill, while keeping us all entertained in front of the camera too! What a feat. The children grow more beautiful every day. I pray you stay safe and happy as the journey continues. Please do not fret about keeping your location guarded. The crazy famous have bodyguards the size of NFL linemen with them whenever they go. Fortunately, your fan following is sweet and lovable, but that does not mean you don’t have to take precautions. Never think twice about it, it is your duty 🤩😍

I like this comment because of the ego management remark. We watch countless actors go off the depth end believing their own BS. Unfortunately, as you have come to know, fame carries undesirable baggae. People act like they know you and are privy to your space and time. Regrettable but it comes with the teritory. I am sure 95% of your following understands and respect your space and what you have graciously given us. Thank you, a thousand times, Thank You

I'm grateful for the sailing community. It's the community created by the love , kindness an realness you show about this style of life.. I am upset I didn't make it to Annapolis this year. I'm 22 miles from the docks! You both have earned your blessings! With this said .. Elaina, you have every right to be uncomfortable with someone approaching your home just cuz they're curious! No not cool you have kids no matter what you show on YT. Still no one should come unannounced to anyone's home no matter how approachable they seem ..!! I'm excited for the wisdom an laughter and what the future holds for your family! It will be beautiful ✌🏼💗😊⛵

For so long now, many years been watching you two and for some reason I feel so proud for all that you have accomplished and have created a lifestyle that you want, that you live, that you honor everyday., I'm surprised at how proud I am of you both and have never actually conversed or met you!! But, it's authentic and true. Truly an inspiration.

🥂 Congratulations on all your success 🍾 Without followers, no fame! Without fame, no financial gain! That is life in the lime light.. whether TV, film or you tube!. Enjoy the ride and when you don't anymore, then its time to get out and find another way to make a living!... your family comes first🙂. Of course all of us you tube subscribers, that have followed and supported your adventures for many years, hope we still have many years of following your new adventures... roll on La Vagabond 2!

Just ordered a copy of Elay's book. SO excited. I read over 100 books on a good year, but children's books are really near and dear to my heart. Can't wait for it to show up. My almost 3 year old Corbin will love this new addition. This book will be treasured since I've watched your vlog for years. Raising boys together! ❤

Beautiful episode! It was great to board La Vagabonde at the show,, meet the new captain and I've known Alex for years when he worked at a sailing club in Annapolis. He is a terrific guy ... it blew my mind when I first saw him working with you. But then not a surprise at all because he is an accomplished and skilled yachtsman who is supremely agreeable. I greatly enjoyed all your background filming during the show and talking about your emotions throughout the experience. Carry on!!

Thanks for taking us along on the journey! And its important to share the lows as well as the highs - something you've always done. Hopefully that small percentage of people will remember you are a family first and foremost and respect your privacy.

I've been watching you guys for probably around 2 yrs or so, give or take, and the way I look at this video is pride. One simple word. Pride. I know Riley may struggle with the "fame" word but you know what it all boils down to is the fact that you and Elayna have touched soooooo many people with your adventures and the sweet, genuine, awesome people you are. The whole weekend looked like one surreal ride for you guys but ultimately people love what you do, love who you are and we are so thankful, it goes beyond words, for the journey you have shared with us. I'm so proud of you for achieving such greatness. Thank you!!! All my love from England ❤️

I truly enjoy watching you guys and those you invite along - farewell to Ray. Your boys are blessed by the wonderful people you bring onboard. It has to be so enriching for their lives. And may I add, you always spruce up well for a land-based party….and conduct yourselves with genuine sincerity and what we refer to here in New Zealand …aroha …love and affection …for everyone you meet. ❤️🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿NZ

Great episode, so much going on. The highs and the lows your family and yourselves are experiencing, from the celebrity status you and your channel have achieved with all the opportunity it brings, to the sadness of Lenny's realization of the loss of the only home he has known and the departure of another awesome nanny in Rae, such a rollercoaster of emotion. I've been a part of your journey since Stevo Kinevo flew out to visit you and I've truly enjoyed every minute you guys have shared. Really looking forward to the adventures ahead on the new trimaran!

As always, another top-notch production. I have enjoyed immensely, your videos since the monohull days and there has always been something of interest. I'm not sure why your videos are so addictive, apart from the fact that I love sailing so much and yet done so little of it. I think it's because you two+ are so natural and you show almost everything about your lives, warts and all. You have a formula that just works, and it works well. More strength to you.

I read a comment a few episodes back, saying it's so unfair for the children not to have a home and stable life. I wanted to respond so bad but I was to angry and thought I just will let it go. Today I will respond now that I have calmed down. I'm a old grandmother. That could only wish my kids and grandkids could have had the experience these boys are having. These beautiful little boys have seen and learned more in their few year than most adults have. They have all the love and stability that is needed. Infact alot more than some parents do that live in a home. Lenny is so smart and no doubt his baby brother will be the same. Besides who wants their kids attending public school here in America anymore? It's dangerous with all the shootings and bullets. These boys are getting the best education from their parents who are doing a amazing job. Ok my rant is over. I'm very lost though when Lenny got his hair cut. It's so adorable. I watch every episode. Where did I miss it? You two looked amazing. I'm so proud of all you have accomplished. Sending lots of love from Utah.
