Till Ghanaian musician accepts that Highlife is a fusion and not a one way sound then we are lost, every tribe in Ghana and some part of Africa has an identity in Highlife and till we allow ourselves to explore the highlife which other African countries also adopted from Ghana and have it uniqueness in their country then if we don’t take care our highlife will be one way like how the Nigerians took the Ga Kpalogo highlife with the 5 patten sound and named it afrobeats and now is becoming boring. We have different variation of Highlife so we allow our artiste explore the sounds from different variations from Kpalogo,adowa,Igbo,ijor,borbor,azonto,akaida,and other African countries that do highlife. Let’s dominate that sound everywhere and dominate it globally make it commercial for everyone in the world want to do . That’s when our music will have a global success either than that. We have nothing. And let’s stop comparing ourselves to Nigerians cuz they are far gone .
