Dans une chaumière au fin fond de la forêt, un chat et une chouette se disputent l'attention de leur maîtresse sorcière. Moins doué en sorcellerie que sa rivale, le chat dérobe la baguette magique de la sorcière alors qu'elle part dans les bois.
In a cottage deep in the forest, a cat and an owl are competing for the approval of their witch mistress. Less skilled for spellcasting than his rival, the cat steals her magic wand from the witch as she leaves for the woods.

The witch was burned at the stake and she didn't have her wand to defend herself. The cat and the owl gave up their magic to make up for their mistakes.

It's so emotional when the owl hugged the kitty, it shows the owl was matured and knows how to protect the cat. Even if they war a lot they love each other. Also my cat would never steal someones wand

I don’t whether to love this or not, I’m an empath so I love the journey from ‘familiar in training’ to witch reborn. But I also believe that a ‘familiar’ would not disobey or steal from the witch family it serves.

@@classiql A familiar is a witch or wizard's animal assistant, generally gifted with magic of its own. They obey their master and help them in times of need, and though they can have squabbles, they all share upmost loyalty to their masters

Bonnie, I totally understand where you are coming from. My experience however, is that Familiars are unique forms of individuals who act on their instincts, innate nature, and their personalities due to them being linked with three forms of reality ( the æther, the wild, and human/ domestic forms of reality). I've had literal debates with familiars ( my own as well) about " why it's a dick move to swipe other people's stuff" and that there's certain forms of squabbling/ mischief that's permissible while other forms are not.

Wouldn't an empath show empathy and understand why a familiar would do that? I don't see why you had to add that you "are an empath", most people I know who say that end up being self-centered instead.

There's not literally a "witch" class in D&D (at least not that I've found), but there is a "Find Familiar" spell - and according to it, you're only supposed to have one familiar at a time. Looks like this witch figured out an exception to the rule, and it also looks like this is _why_ the rule exists: two familiars will fight each other and spoil the witch's work.

This reminds me so much of me and my girls Onyx and Blue. I truly believe that I knew them in another life and are truly my familiars. Call me insane but I truly believe in that. This was such a beautiful short! This would make a great mini series.

I hated the owl, felt bad for the kitty, then felt bad for both of them. Mainly the kitty.... then cried my freaking eyes out like a two year old out of sadness, before those tears turned into tears of joy. THANK YOU FOR THE EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER RIDE GEEEEZE!!!!!!
