I wish I had lived in a warm, loving and compassionate home such as this. So much luv... So much affection. I'd give anything to be loved and cared for in a dear, sweet FAMILY such as this......Words, just cannot describe. These definitely were SIMPLER times ❣️

They were only simple and perfect on TV. You're romanticizing the era of Cambodian genocide, Ted Bundy luring, raping and killing young girls, and there were riots, drugs, shootings, and loss of employment and lack of basic needs in US and all over the world.

I'm the opposite - I've seen waaaaaay too much of it. Especially true crime stuff. I was a true crime buff and an armchair detective for decades, not to mention all the nasty things they stream on tv these days. I just decided a year ago that I can't take it anymore, so I come here to KZbin to watch old shows like this. It's been really good for me - I'm less anxious and worried these days. Calmer and happier. Retro sitcoms and game shows are the best! Don't worry about "worldly" tv... you're not missing anything! It's awful.

Used to love this show. Had a HS boyfriend who was the spittin image of this young man too. Everyone saying a toddler with a fever isn't anything - sometimes it can turn into pneumonia or asthma.

I loved this show because it taught so many coping skills that were learned at home. The big learning curve is lost in the shuffle of swipe it on an app. The real has too much makeup on. And some of the newer generation don't know how to communicate verbally. However, I am hopeful.

tv families are never real. i loved the Waltons for years until i found out the truths about will geer and grandma. lets just say in real life those 2 were the opposite of the characters they played on tv. and heres a note for someone whose child really does have a temp.found out with a digital thermometer .;give them a pedialyte popsicle and put them in a slightly cooler bathtub.than usual.over the age of 2. it worked for my 2 daughters. it will work for your children too.
