Emily, it is so wonderful to see you enjoying this vacation so much! Compared to last year it seems you guys have figured out all the trips and tricks to make sure that all of you are having fun and included! I know last year you had a pretty hard trip but watching you this year and seeing you having so much fun with Will and your kiddos is just amazing! I am so happy for you! Seems like most if not all of your kids are little beach babes and all having fun doing the activities at the beach that make them the most happy!! So joyful to watch you guys! I pray the trip continues on just as awesome!

Coquina clams move up and down the shore by burying themselves in the sand after each wave moves them. They are on every beach. You find discarded shells up higher on the beach if there are any.

My Grandma took me to Balboa Park years ago! Loved the beach footage! Glad you all made it to San Diego!

Is Sawyer blocking his ears because it's too loud? It would help if you looked into some noise-cancelling earmuffs. I have sensory processing disorder and anxiety disorders, and I am sensitive to sound. I have noise-cancelling earmuffs, and they help me so much. They help me do things that might be loud for me comfortably! By the way, my name is Lauren, and I'm 17 years old. I DO WISH they would get Sawyer something to block out some of the noise. Loud noise’s really bother him. I’ve seen him blocking his ears quite a lot. I SO HOPE that they do this for their little boy!
