It's not a "law" but its common store policy that if the cashier has suspicion that an adult is purchasing alcohol for someone underaged that they can request IDs from everyone and if they are unable to provide them, the cashier can deny the sale. Was a standard practice when I was a cashier/CSM for Walmart.

Idea: Anita meets Chuck through a dating app and they hit it off, going on a crime spree. Chuck ends up shot down by police and Trenton shows up to bail out his mom. Once Trenton escapes with Anita, George shows up to help Chuck. Assuming Trenton makes a clean escape, Rick shows up at the scene to annoy the police as they deal with a despondent George. Just keep cycling out your most annoying characters however possible.

Happened to me once I was with my wife. We were on vacation and she didn’t carry her id with her because we were going to Walmart. She had a picture of her id but the employee pitched a fit and called the manager. The manager fussed with me for a minute and said that she couldn’t take the photo. I brought up the point of what if I had my 6 year old with me? Would you not let me buy it then? She said ok and let me buy it. Like in some ways I get it but in other ways it’s stupid. Same thing with a parent buying a knife/bb gun for their kid while the kid is with them. If they want the kid to have the item it doesn’t matter if they are in the store or not they will get the item.
