@@KirstenSpencerPhotography My pleasure. I teach foundation degree photography and try to use the same principle. Simple and effective, you nailed it. Also, you're fun to listen too haha (a little bit nut, like me lol). Have a great day.

Hey, lovely tutorial. I have a quick though. When I try to move one picture to my blank created page the image doesn't show up. What am I doing wrong?

I love love love this. I bet this family was thrilled with this beautiful family portrait. What a great piece to hang over the fireplace in the living room. I do have a question, did you ask them to wear similar colors, how was this structured for this type of shoot. knowing your goal was to take the single photos & merge them all together ? Thanks for a great tutorial.

Janice Butler Actually, they were in for a regular session... I just asked if I could try this for fun. They are friends of mine. :)

Bonsoir, vers la fin je n'ai pas vu comment vous faites le calque avec la sélection (à 23:20), pouvez vous m'expliquer svp ? En Français, merci.

@@KirstenSpencerPhotography Good evening, towards the end I didn't see how you make the layer with the selection (at 23:20), can you explain to me please? In French thanks.

At 23:20 I'm just explaining my set up. Einstein light, 86 PLM Umbrella, 24" away from their face.

Curious, if you had a professional setup, why didn’t you just set them up in diagonal position and take a photo?
@KirstenSpencerPhotography4 жыл бұрын
Try it and see! It would have been SO DEEP as each body is like 18” wide they couldn’t get this close to each other, plus, dad’s face would be huge and the baby small because of lens distortion! You could never re-create something like this without doing a composite!

Great technique but the background must match evenly in all photos.
@KirstenSpencerPhotography3 жыл бұрын
Well, I shot them all in a row so it was pretty hard to get it not evenly matched!!
