@@Ya_boi_jaspershe may not know. Depending on where you live, it could be a cluster. If it’s anything like it is here in Arizona where you have nations set in the middle of other nations, it’s possible that you could have more than one nation/tribe in you. In my case I have Hopi and Navajo. The Hopi nation is right in the center of the Navajo Nation. So there’s a lot of Native Americans that have ancestral ties to more than one nation.

Considering those roots go back to Mexico for most, that's not really an option. Y'all seriously need to educate yourself. Just because DNA says native doesn't mean you can enroll. There's way more to it than that. It gets more complicated if it's in another country (Mexico, Canada, south america).

To be fair, my own grandma, who is very German, has always lived in Germany, has traced her ancestry back to the freaking middle ages, looks exactly like her own father (just in female) took one of those tests and it said 80% British. Now for that to be true, both of her parents would have to be almost entirely British. But again, we know their ancestry down to the nth degree and they are all most definitely German … those tests compare your DNA to where that particular combination is most common, but that is just a likelihood and not a guarantee that that‘s where your DNA came from …

A lot of people are suggesting to get the kids registered with the tribes. But you would have to establish descent from a specific tribe, so would have to know exactly who the bio parents were. Also, I think a lot of their Native ancestry isn‘t from any US tribes, but Mexican or South American tribes. That would be even more complicated to establish… and not necessarily have any of the benefits that an enrolled membership with a US tribe has.
