I think it's pretty amazing she went that long believing. The "existence" of Santa inspired children to be the best versions of themselves so there really isn't anything sa about maintaining that belief until adulthood. It's pretty crappy that we make fun of and put down people like the 13 year old. Finding out at 4 or 5 doesn't make you cool, more intelligent or mature. The sooner the sadder. And whoever's shattering that hope or belief is a real piece of work.
