The woman who messed up her marriage vows reminds me of a story my (now deceased) aunt used to tell us. This was back in the UK in the early 70s (so long before gay marriage) Apparently, the PRIEST said to my AUNT "Do you take this man to be your lawful wedded WIFE!" Understandably, there was a lot of laughter but especially from my aunt and her sister (My mum) The priest apparently said, "When you're quite composed, we'll continue with the ceremony!"

Having audience members over the age of 14 for a recording of Hey Dad! was a safe decision because that was way too old to turn on Mr Kelly.

What stands out to me, is that tv hosts and voice over artists have moved away from their deep, professional sound, to sounding more casual. You only hear the deep, professional voice these days on luxury brands or products for senior citizens.

People on tv don't seem to get voice training anymore, just high pitched voices with lots of shrieking, especially from news reporters

Mark Malone, he was basically the go to announcer for Channel 7 Brisbane, he also announced for Total Recall and A*Mazing (while the show was filmed there)
