Oh no, the Johnson family defeated the Buttices on the May 14, 1981 episodes, the Brushetts defeated the Johnsons on the May 19, 1981 episode(which you can see on gamelover1949's account). So this is indeed from May 20, 1981 Tyler.

Actually, the Johnson family became the new champions on the May 17, 1981 show (which you can check out on my minecraftfan870 channel) and the Brushetts left with $10,889.

pyramidfan90 Not to split hairs, but as there are so many including myself, that are curious, it seems the dates line up differently. Remember the Johnsons won against 3 families, that's 3 episodes, before being defeated by the Brushetts, in the 4th. It has been reported that the first episode was taped April 6th, 1981. Which lines up with Richard Dawson's interview in later life, in which he revealed his first date with Gretchen Johnson occurred on Good Friday 1981 (April 17th, 1981). I have seen it reported that the first episode with the Buttice Family aired on: May 12th, 14th, 18th and/or 19th, 1981. Also, May 17th, 1981 was a Sunday. It seems the airings are as follows: Thursday May 14th, 1981 - Johnson v. Buttice Friday May 15th, 1981 - Johnson v. Smith Monday May 18th, 1981 - Johnson v.McGhee Tuesday May 19th, 1981 - Johnson v. Brushett Wednesday May 20th, 1981 - Brushett v. Kepler With Winnings as follows: Thursday May 14th, 1981 - Johnson's $6858.00 Friday May 15th, 1981 - Johnson's $ Monday May 18th, 1981 - Johnson's $ Total Winnings $12,420 Tuesday May 19th, 1981 - Johnson's $239.00, Total Winnings $12,659
