This was my family. The Sparks family. My parents and Uncle and aunts. They went on to win 5 shows in a row. Richard Dawson came out to the audience and kissed all of the female family members right on the lips! Kinda yucky for us teenage girls. Yes The Telles family were quite forthcoming that they partied in their limo before each game...Lol ...They were smashed! We all had the most wonderful time! My beautiful Mom (the irish one) is still alive and in her 90's, feisty as ever!

If you remember, there was a release form that asked if you preferred for to not be kissed. Or kissed on the cheek or on kissed on the lips. and Dawson always respected that.

Maybe my Mom and Aunts whom were the contestants, but when my sisters and my female cousins and I were in the audience, during a commercial break on the first of 5 shows my family was on, Gene the producer introduced Richard to us and he kissed each of us! We were all 16-21 and too embarrassed back then to oppose it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think it was because we were 5 beautiful young girls sitting in a row together and the producers kept referring to us as "Charlies Angels" so Richard wanted in it! He was very respectful though! It was just one of his and the shows famous "bits" at the time, kinda like when Trump used to say "Your fired" while pointing his finger. Lol But please vote blue!! 💙💙💙💙💙

​@@bammi4 Uh...to give some clarity Richard used to kiss men on the match game and occasionally on family feud (most notably gene and his sons). Also, women he didn't find attractive he still kissed. You can see it from his admittance, duration and/or instances he kisses one woman. Being beautiful is not a part of it. And I do notice alot of "victims" of his kisses. Most notably a celebrity from the all-stars said she regretted it now yet she poked her lips out of all contestants. You lack credibility, because every show kids younger than "16", if they werent comfortable, made him kiss their cheek or they would close their mouths when he kissed even as a contestant. It's a shame he's under a bad light because of women who lack accountability.

Yes! They used to party in thier limo in the studio parking lot right before each episode was filmed. I know because my sisters and I were there to support our parents the SPARKS FAMILY. Richard Dawson would kiss all the female contestants and he also introduced himself to the family members in the audience and we three teenage girls had to endure a wet mushy kiss by Richard too. Now I look back in fondness and remember what a great time it was before Covid and AIDS! We had a lovely time and our family went on to win a total of 5 times! RIP Richard Dawson😇🥰
